    AARHGh..this is sooo frustrating!
I've now re-attached my sky HD box, including HDMI and scart cables.
When i turn on the tv and box, i get no picture at all now, but a message saying:
Weak or No Signal. Check the antenna cable connections.

well..all connections are def in properly...can anyone pleaseee help!

    thanks all
First thing to do is connect the Sky box back up and connect it to the TV with a scart lead. This could then eliminate any problem with the dish and connections. If the picture is good. Then swap the boxes without disturbing anything else and if the picture is now crap, then the skyline receiver is at fault.

Anyway.so am now connected via the Sky HD box and am happy and will send the Skyline received back, as it gives such inferior quality picture

thanks indeed everyone, for your help and time.
