I'm delighted to say that Tune Hotel.com are releasing 200 more 1 penny rooms. They'll be available for booking from 12.01am on Tuesday 13th July. Go to tunehotels.com to check it out!

Well...compared to last time this was a doddle. 2 nights (Thursday & Friday) booked in November for 2 pence.

I think it's only August to December for 1p. I didn't see any weekend rooms for 1p. The secret was to search before midnight and see where the 1p rooms were..... only I only started looking at 5 minutes to midnight so didn't get long to find them.

Is there any point in continuing looking? Does anybody know how long the 1p rooms are available for (I mean regarding searching for them)?

Tune say they sold out within the first 10 minutes , so the best thing to do is join the Facebook page if you can as it gives you the dates and times of the next 1p day ( Plus hints on the best dates to choose )

Then register first with their main site , make sure you pick English / Malaysia in the drop down menu on top left corner as it won't recognise pound currency otherwise

Have your dates written down ( weekdays are always best )

Log in before midnight and IF it gives an error message on the payment page try refreshing it as I had to refresh the page twice before it took me to the payment page

The wrong decimal point placement has been resolved - So good luck ... Lots of people seem to get them if they are lucky ( and I didn't know you could search for the one penny rooms beforehand - very savvy! )

I think its GREAT value even with the card payment charge and add ons :T:D

What do you mean search for the 1p rooms beforehand?

I managed to find a Thurs one after going through every day this morning-in Feb. It showed either a dbl room with no windows or special needs with windows, I daren't book the special needs one as it says they will charge you extra if you do not specifically need special needs, so will have one without windows.

I also signed up to Entropay to avoid the £1.95 charge for debit card as it can be used as an electron-I loaded £10 on to it which cost me a 50p charge-still cheaper than the £1.95 and I've been meaning to get one for ages for things like this.

If you look up when there is no booking/promo on, you can see which days are the 1p ones etc and the rates, the only ones are without windows though, just to let you know!
