I was trying to book a room at midnight on monday and kept getting as far as entering my card details and then the system would crash. I gave up after an hour of trying. Anyway this morning I have checked my bank and they took the payment from my account 4 times however i received no confirmation emails and there is no bookings listed on my account. Did anyone else have this problem??

Did anyone else continue with their booking after this,if it happened to you? seems a bit strange if it was only me and my sister sitting in different ends of the UK on the phone whilst booking?!
I'm a bit worried that there's something wrong with their bookings system and they're overcharging people.
I had the same issue but asked them on their Facebook page and they checked for me. Found out that there was a glitch in the payment gateway or something. But it wasn't charging that high amount, its just that the decimal point wasn't recognised. seems to be fine now.0 -
Well I have just had a call from the bank to say the 2 rooms that I booked that should have come to £71, the hotel have taken £7,100 off my credit card so beware!!!
They didnt take that amount, had the same experience. The payment gateway didnt show the decimal point. My credit card still showed the amount i booked it for, £9 instead of £90. Please dont spread lies0 -

yup notice how she hasn't commented since? or replied anyone? Ive experienced the booking thingy. even asked tune hotels if this was true, checked with me bank as well. whilst it showed £90, it was actually £9 that was charged. they admitted it was glitch in the system but we weren't charged that crazy amount.
My bank told me the same thing. kinda tall tale just posting here saying they were charged and not hearing from them again. People would normally contact the bank and the hotel. yet they just come here and post some statement and disappear? Sounds like a tall tale to me.
Plus I dont see her complaining to tune on their fb page, why?0 -

Could well be, but best to not presume.
They may have joined simply to warn others and not been on mse since.
Not everyone has FB.0 -

I had a similar issue. Booked two rooms for £40 each (to be honest I still think that's a bargain for a Saturday night in London!) but the confirmation showed £800. I actually sent an email to them and they explained that it was just a system error - must admit I did check my bank statement pretty swiftly but as they had said only £80 had been charged so I'm happy.0

I aborted the transaction when the bank's security page came up with £1,800.00 instead if £18, I used a pre-paid card to be safe and it went through OK. BUT had a call from the bank to say that a transaction of £1,800.00 was cancelled was this correct?
PS. Have use Tune many times, obviously just a glitch.0
