found another one and tried again but no...cant do it! wont bring anything up to enter card details! thanks op, shame it doesnt work for all! well done to all!

Just managed to book 2 nights in November, although 1 of them did cost £16.75, I cant complain though, 2 nights in London for under £20, HAPPY DAYS

well i managed to get a couple of the elusive one penny rooms .. without windows

just got all the way through booking, keyed in my cc details, and then it went to the securecard web bit where you confirm letters in a password. the total on that box stated £12,400!!!! i panicked and pressed cancel, I didnt receive any confirmation so the booking didnt go through but it clearly state on the previous page the correct amount (£124ish) including cc fee. my sister was aso booking and the same thing happened, a total 100 times more than the value came up on the "security" page at the end of the transation.
Did anyone else continue with their booking after this,if it happened to you? seems a bit strange if it was only me and my sister sitting in different ends of the UK on the phone whilst booking?!
I'm a bit worried that there's something wrong with their bookings system and they're overcharging people.

I think it's when I choose to pay by Visa Electron. I tried it with Mastercard and it took me to the payment page. Looks like they are forcing me to pay cards charges.

Note... it's £10 to cancel a booking and £10 to do a name change. This will be of no interest to people with 1p rooms but for those paying more it may be handy.

yes mine came up with £1.00 on both occasions.. a hundred times the room cost as you say. not too worried as its right on the email

this happened to me - i was booking 2 1p rooms and the security bit at the end said it would charge me £2... i thought i might as well go for it. i then checked my bank account and only 2p has been allocated.

hth but i only risked it as it was only £2
