    Morning all,

Have managed a half catchup - I see Pen Pen was burgled - sorry to hear about that and Rach can work from home which can only be good! Loved Jo-Jo's description of the council man visit - you have a brilliant way with words!

Life in the Soappie household continues to be manic and will be for the next two weeks. DS's 30th birthday barbecue is next weekend and then the summer fair I'm helping to organise is the weekend after  Just as well I'm only working part time!

Chicks are great timewasters! They seem to be thriving and have finally been given names by DD. This is them yesterday when we let them have a little outing on the kitchen floor...

The one the left/foreground is Kendra. The one on the right/background is Holly. Apparantly those were two of Hugh Hefner's lady friends....

Right, my 15 minutes catch up is done. I need to bathe and water the garden (thanks for the reminder Greenbee). Hairdresser is coming at 10am. I then need to go shopping at some point and stock up for next weekend and clean the barbecue. Oh and add some more "what ifs" to this damned risk assessmet....

morning all, up early as was rather warm! SOooo glad we decided against going to the wedding, no way I could manage 3 hours each way driving today.

We did most of the flying last night as Bil and Sil were coming over, so just some washing to put away, towels to wash and the bedroom to dyson today. Also want DH to clean the kitchen windows as they are filthy!

    dusty -
I didn't know about the JL clearance! Looks like some good stuff though some of the baby bedding I want is out of stock online :( What a shame as will be good quality. Not sure I fancy trekking into London though! I've got a couple of bits in my basket though.

froddy glad the furbabies are getting new homes and doing ok - sounds like you have had a fab time -its lovely to hear you enjoying yourself - next year's class sounds like fun too!
soappie the girls are adorable - good luck with all the arrangements.
    greenbee have fun camping!

was up at 5.30 for an hour and then got sleepy - did manage to get a bit more sleep until the carer came at 8. will probably have to nap later. I did think about going back to bed but someone is installing a new fence across the road and he is using a metal thing to make the holes i think - anyway its making to much noise and thudding that i wouldnt be able to sleep.

so no excuse .......I will have to find something to do.better go find my list

    have a good day everyone

Greenbee - camping  At least the weather is ok.

Tax disc renewed, need to find the MOT and see when that is due, and order a replacement headlamp cover - which got cracked on the way back from visiting Dusty and I still havent fixed it :o.

DW emptied and filled. Need to get the WM on and then I can play in the garden all day.

ETA Just had a phone call from my neice

she was the proud owner of 3 gerbils

she's now the proud owner of 11...

I suspect what she thought was 3 boys might well have been 2 girls and a boy...I think 8 babies is a high number for gerbils...
