A lovely lady on MSE actually invited me to join her at the O2 tonight as she had won a pair of tickets to see Bon Jovi and no one wanted to come with her! Was gutted to have to say no as i have no one to look after LO:( Hope they come to Scotland next year.

I know... and you know how much the idea really doesn't appeal to me, so you can imagine what it took to persuade me... I am insisting on taking duvet, pillows etc, to try to make it civilised

I've got one of those - for making post holes.

    Valli - have a fabulous time :D

Shopping done. Need to sort out food to take with me and wrap presents.

Better hang the washing out and start getting myself organised...

Valli~~ have a loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeely time, and tell your neice to get another cage to put the boy gerbils in! (try freecycle for her)

Toots~~ the metal thing by the sounds of it, is for banging in the fence posts, you dig a small hole, put the pointed end of the post in it, then keep wacking the metal thing down on the post till it is the height you want it in the ground, I suggest you get some ear plugs or cotton wool for your ears! as he may be some time, as each post has to be done one at a time, unless he has 2 metal things!!

I have cut the grass, and am sweating like goodness knows what, I am rewarding my self with a can of soft drink, and 20 mins here!, then off to plant some wonderful seeds I have bought from the KEW Collection (bluddy expensive) but should be worth it.

I have to also find my oldest clothes to fence paint in, but with all the flinging that goes on here, I don't think I have many.

If you are out in the sun, slip, slap, slop (I hope that is right) and have a good day.

    Back later xxx

  • valli you are daring, don't forget to order your currency at the PO. I could make comment about the wrong side of the Pennines, but I know I would get lynched!!

They won't have it.. if it was that simple I would! I found one which should do I hope.. from june last year but they said anything from April 2008 will do.

You are supposed to get a new letter every time they make a change.. do they have your correct address? I know I get one at least every April when the rate changes.
