Wednesday - Sitting Room and Hallway
Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music! (not sure what my neighbours thought about the mix of Blur, Smiths and Primal Scream! But nice to have a blast of toons every now and again!)
Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
Sort out coats, shoes and bags
Clean any electricals.. don't be frazzling yourselves though!
Level Three
Check those smoke alarms!
Wipe sofas, paintwork and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum stairs
And managed not to frazzle or injure myself!
Woohoo we're through! Used flexi time to watch the game and had it set up at work. :j:beer::T:beer:0 -
YIPPEE!!!!! DD2'S EXAMS ARE OVER!
Her final exam didn't finish until 3.30 - difficult when the whole school is watching the footy!:rotfl::rotfl:
Nice invigilator updated the score on the board at the front:T:T. Watched 2nd half with both DDs - keeping an eye on a longrunning match at Wimbledon - it's still going:eek::eek:. No final set tiebreaker means it's 48 - 47 in the final set! I've seen shorter cricket matches! Off to catch up with the score!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Well more flinging done but house doesn't seem to be looking much better, hmmmm, not good. Anyway doing tea now, trying my hand at Chicken Jambalaya.....just taking a LOT longer for the rice to cook than I thought. I did think 'oh that's one pot limited mess' somehow I manage to use 3 plus other stuff, maybe that's why it is such a tip. Managed to book us a free break during the summer with the short breaks, be nice to get more out of the hard work we've put in
going to pay the extra to stay for about 3 weeks. 3 weeks in a place with minimal internet connection, I might regret that :rotfl:
Wish the sunburn on my chesticles would calm down, stinging like ookery!
Right, see if that rice is done, thought if I ignore it for a bit it might cookOne day I might be more organised...........

Have finally found the bottom of the ironing pile. Couple of questions though
1. Does anyone know if they sell the foam that goes under the ironing board cover? Or should I just buy some and do it myself as ours is disappearing?
2. What is the best way to clean the bottom of the iron? There is a brown tinge to it and it's only a matter of time until it ends up on one of OHs shirts.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700
