  • Not that keen on footie - but huge tennis fans in this house!

Back from hot day travelling for work meeting - fairly depressing discussions (public servant - need I say more?). Quickly cooking DS some tea then we're away to the lottie - watering & strawbs picking..

    List for later

    Watering at home
Hoover upstairs (something has been spilt and cartered everywhere)
    Do bathroom
    HHC my bedroom
    HHC office
make DH some food - whenever he gets back

    laters me dears

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Hi all,

Well my interviiew / application form didn't go well today, managed to injure myself as i got off the bus today.
So after limping through the interview that wasn't supposed to happen, i limped on the bus to the walkin clinic then A & E.

So now i have to wear a splint and hobble round on crutches, i'm in a ridiculous amount of pain . Have to attend knee clinic to see if the ligaments have healed and no tendons have torn.
So for now i'm out of flying for the time being, so guess i can't post on any here now :(.

Right watching footie, England winning so far!!!!!!!!!!!

Fingers crossed you are feeling better soon hun and goodluck with the job front you never know you might get some luck with this one!

Mummyslittleboy, I think it's great, I have been busy on the websites looking for a job as a TA (first full time job since having DD)...it's not easy but it will all be worth it xx

It is worth it I never gave up work with my 2 DD's the only reason I took my maternity leave when I had DS was because I had been working 60-70 hours a week for a company and was shattered I then extended maternity leave and left when we realised DS had extra needs as I wanted to look after him but he is starting school in just over a year so this will get me back out to work and doing something I have always wanted to do!

    Ouch :(

I met DH and friends in the pub - it had a big screen in the garden and was mobbed  Glad I went, but DH has booked a table for lunch for us on Sunday, followed by a walk, so we won't see the next match. Never mind, we'll take the little radio :T

Off to help DH light the barbeque

Pollybear - embb usually hides when big brother is on, she has been quiet on Facebook too.

Mudbath - it is helping, thanks

Our bedroom just needs a good hoover then it is done. A scary number of books have been put back into book cases and we have clear floor. It isn't dirty/clean washing that is the problem - but books and paperwork seem to breed.
