Did you see that programme on last week 'Piers Morgan in Vegas'? Donny & Marie Osmond doing Vegas. I used to be a real Donny fan all those years ago;)

Any Las Vegas shows that are a 'must see'?

The Cirque du Soleil show LOVE at the MIRAGE is amazing.

Hi guys, I'm reading through your comments, on pge 2 at moment. Planning to go to USA March 2011.
I have question, do you think is beter to book everything yourself, flights and hotels or byu package?
I found at Travelsphere what I thought wa good offer, 12 days USA west coast £899 including flights, hotels and transfers by bus. See here:
    http://www.travelsphere.co.uk/destinations/north-america/northern-america/united-states/americas-golden-west/

Do you think it's good price and journey plan?
    Best wins ever:

    2013: £2 000 Virgin Holiday Voucher!
2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand

    Misa.blue,

£899 seems a good price to me, however, on looking at the link its £1099 min in March, so I am confused.

Also, they conveniently dont name the hotels you would be staying in, do you know which ones ?

Personally i always do the DIY option, book my own flights, hotels etc etc..

I know, you are right about the price for March, I'm just hoping they will drop price closer to date..:o
Just liked the idea of being driven around, think it guarantees that I will see what is worth to see..Hopefully.
But going to look what can I find by booking all separetly;)

  • Hi guys, I have another question :-)
Is it true, that it's better to drive from San Fran down to LA on 101 rather then LA to San Francisco? I heard that when driving down you are on the right side of the road to see the cost better..

If you're on the coast side your view isn't interrupted by traffic going past on the other side of the road.
