Well I had a proper look around yesterday.

Unless I'm reading it wrong then a reserve has to be £25 or over.

If I am right then.... wow. There is so much overpriced stuff on that site- I had trouble finding stuff without a reserve :eek:

I saw a lego item that is on a buy it now on ebay for £4.99 with a reserve :undecided

Oh and I hate the name, sounds like it's exclusively cheap tat.

Good luck to it, but I can't see it going anywhere.

ETA: just found out that the CEO has a (suspiciously?) apt name- Marcus Down. *confused*

No worries. I completely understand, yes I did only sign up to give my opinion on them. And yes I am trying to promote the site. But having spoken to the guys at castoff what they make very clear is that they need help. They need people to get behind them and promote them.

I can honestly say I don't know anything about a user spamming your forums. I sincerely hope its not one of the castoff team.

I am a genuine seller on the site. You can see my items for sale on the site. (I can't post the link)

All I ask is that you give the place a try. Maybe they don't have 2 million visitors a day, but they won't if people won't help.

i used these guys abit back and they were ok....remind me of an early e-bay in ways, how when e-bay first started they had the same type of items

Well okay I used them from early June hardly a bit back but a few weeks ago, actually do like their ease of use, makes ebay look a bit busy.

I've just concluded double digit sales on castoff now selling on my old stuff for very little money. I'm happy to show my support for these guys. I actually got a "do you want any help?" call off them yesterday. Amazing!

Just a tip, posting several times about a company and very little else on a forum actually stops people using the site, it doesn't encourage them.

People seeing your posts will assume, rightly ro wrongly, that you are connected with them and the fact that a company needs to spam suggests they have serious problems.
