I use Always sanitary towels. Very thin and comfortable, can get them for varying flow and with or without wings.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

These are what my daughter uses too and they fit much better. She is 14 but not very big for her age.
Its taken me ages to find something suitable. These are only ok for light days. Always with wings are used in heavy days.
As there is already a thread about this I'm going to ask a question & would like you all to go off and research for me
My daughter can only use one hand and the sticky on some of the towels make them difficult to pull off. Let me know if you use a range with 'not much sticky' on the backing - it has to have wings though :rotfl: Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
My DD1 started hers at age 8  and didn't like any of them we tried. I suppose whichever ones you use are going to feel uncomfortable at first. But now that she is 11 we have settled on the Always medium flow ones. I'll get her onto a mooncup soon :rotfl:2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

i use the kotex ones, they are thin and are reliable - reliability was what worried me most after my first time happened during church, sat on a pine seat that showed up all the blood when i stood up lol!

:rotfl: Yep, far too much information
And there was me worried about asking people to check how sticky the backing on their sanitary towels is

I use the Always Freshelle range myself, I find them not too thick, but well protected. When I was a teenager, I went for the slimmest towels, and I don't trust them anymore, and like the wipes with Freshelle.
Someone said about going around the companies asking for samples - this I agree with, when I was 11 and 15, we had 'chats' at school, and all girls got a sample box with about 12 pads in and a small 8 box of tampons, and a tampon holder, as well as all the info you need, which were nice, even better if you were shy of telling your parents.~*Cerenia*~

They still do the chats and give away free samples at school - not as many as you had though!! Just one or 2
