Sorry to bring this up but my daughter finds sanitary towels uncomfortable and I have bought a couple of different packets and don't want to end up buying the whole shelf.
Can anyone suggest and slim ones that could be more comfortable for her?

There are loads of very slim towels on the market, I buy Subtelle (same as Kotex) for 59p from Home Bargains - they are very slim and comfortable. Hope this helps. I have this to look forward to soon DD1 is 12 and very hormonal!!If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0

Thanks bargain babe - my DD is 11 and hormonal and is wearing practise ones???? Whatever takes her fancy and gets her comfortable with the idea I guess.Lightbulb moment 10-06-06

Hi
I was going to surgest the Allways ones untill i saw your reply so now i'd say try just the panty liners. They may just be enough to keep her happy.£2 saver club = £12 :j
20p saver club = £8.40 :j0 -
write or email all the companies and ask them for samples for your daughter0

hi there
have you tried those g-string ones that are designed to be worn with a g-string or thong??? i use these (althought only for the lighter days) but you cant even feel its there. bit pricier than normal ones but well worth it for the comfort.I'm not a "SINGLE" mum, I'm a "DOUBLE" mum!:D0 -
Have a look in Boots, they do a "Teen" selection in there, I can't remember if they were Boots own brand or not tho, I only saw them last week aswell!...I have the memory of a goldfish0

Hi
It may be that when the time comes she would be better with tampons.0 -

I always used "always ultra" until one month we were so skint I thought I would just try the Tesco value thin towels as they were so cheap. I`ve never gone back to Always. The Tesco ones are thinner and better value, and I find them much better than Always ones. Hope that helps.0 -
I bought some for my DD in Wilkinsons they were aimed at teenagers in a bright pink box called ultra teen by dambi 95p, says they are shorter and narrow, seen very slim. Probably the same ones danio saw in boots.0

I only use the Kotex Ultra...have tried everything from Always to Bodyform, and always go back to the Kotex Ultra...nice and thin but very absorbent, generally about 99p a pack, usually on BOGOF too.If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0
