You lucky Viz, not compulsory yet, but they working on it, you bet .
My plumber, I mean my ex-plumber, quotes £50 fixed fee one item, then extra for the cooker, and extra for a gas fire. As for that little dog organization, don't get me started. Did you know an electrician can certificate a gas installation.!!
    Yer gotta laugh Humf.

I'm sure I have to get it done as its only a year old. Would break the warranty otherwise ?

You need to shop around, read the local papers, there is little point in paying dole to all these new people to our country when one of them is perhaps an experience plumber looking for work. A safety certificate is not necessary unless you are a tenant, and with your system being new not likely to fail anyway. Does your warranty say a yearly service is necessary.??
A house near me was recently repaired top to bottom by a gang of immigrants employed by the owner, he told me cheap as chips.
  • Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding getting my boiler serviced. I own the flat I live in and I rent out two of my rooms. Do I need to get a different kind of Boiler Service because I have lodgers? Also, where is the cheapest place to arrange a service?

    Thanks,

    Dave
