    Morning All

Got to work early so time for a quick read and post :D

DH passed his exam yesterday :j so that will mean more work and a slightly higher rate of pay but more importantly it has done his confidence the world of good! I've just realised I wont see him now until tomorrow as he is leaving for work at 4pm and won't be in until after 2am! He's working again from noon tomorrow so I have the kids.

I was supposed to be going to look at a house yesterday but talking to his sister yesterday she thinks its in a part of town where they are re-homing s3x offenders..... I know they have to live somewhere but in a seaside town overlooking a big childrens park...??? Better make some enquiries first me thinks.

I have Mr T's delivering today - ordered through topcashback and registered DH so will get £10 cash back and got £10 off a £50 shop. Mostly beer and cleaning stuff

Not sure what dinner will be tonight - usually have a takeaway on a friday but will see what the kids fancy when I get in....tomorrow will be fish pie as DH isn't there (he doesn't eat fish)

Better get some work done, have a good day x

Morning all.........................(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one......Happy Anniversary Jackie!!

Its dull and overcast here as well this morning, looks like Scotland is under a cloud again!!

Friday clean, bathroom, kitchen hall and sitting room await my attention. I have a plant I need to bin, it is some sort of palm I think, I re-potted it and it did not like it most of the leaved have fallen off. I do not feel too bad about it. It was a plant that belonged to one of the residents at Oronsay House, when she died I inherited it.........that was over 3 years ago.

Hopefully the planter will get mended today sometime. D is going to the wood yard to get the wood, he can screw the slats back on as well. He got back just after 8pm last night without any further problems. Our LL was looking at the damage when he came down last night. He does not maintain his stuff, there should have been a pin to hold the peg down, someone had taken it out and not replaced it when the trailer was put away.

Right need to get on, or it will be lunchtime and I will have done nothing, this machine is an awful time waster. I allow myself half an hour to catch up on everyone, but find myself going over.....cheers m'dears.............

Guess what my mum bought us for this year ;)
Gosh don't we sound like the couple who have everything :rotfl:

Anyway turns out I have a "day off". DS decided to puke all over the dining area (thankfully laminate and not carpet). He's looking pasty, lethargic and now curled up on the sofa watching Wallace and Gromit. Could have really done with the money for today but hey ho kids have to come first.

Sky everso overcast - looks like it's going to chuck it down :( Come back sunshine I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED you :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Well I have been so lazy this morning and rang my sister in law to do the school run for me, i really shouldn't have sunbathed all day yesterday then tackled a 5 mile run in the heat last night, i'm exhausted
I am trying to motivate myself to get the house sorted so that when the kids go to their dads tomorrow i have very little housework to do.
I'm glad it is overcast at the moment at least it keeps me out of the garden :)
Late dinner tonight i am making hm pizza and burgers to watch whilst the football is on, it's a sporty household and we are looking forward to the match :T
I will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!

    Total £56

Tru - you have my sympathy and support. I have just literally chucked a glass of cold water over my 19 year old son. He rolled in from a night out clubbing at 6.30 this morning very much the worse for wear. Snoring soundly he was when his mobile was ringing and ringing. Then the house phone - he was supposed to be in work an hour ago! I couldnt wake him despite shouting in his ear so poured water over him as he needed to phone them back to explain his lack of presence. Anyway he has been decluttered to work via the shower as he stank. Goodness only knows what he will be like though as he has been awake 24 hours and was drunk and God knows what else when he came in. So angry at him as this is the culmination of a really shi*y week with him and he is heading in a really bad direction.

So no real OS. Need to do some washing but feeling like I CBA. Most of it is DS1's so perhaps I will leave it! Sorry to vent but I feel like we are in a similar position. Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Good morning all,
and Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs JackieG.Just had a quick walk to the shops to get some milk and odds and ends so no more shopping until next Friday as I have everything in for the week. In MRrT's I snaffled a packet of three free range organic turkey steaks reduced to 90p I have never ever cooked these as my turkey has always come complete with carcass ,so any ideas chums .At 90p instead of £3.00 there must be something I can make with them.I am also still looking for a quick and easy carrot cake recipe for the week-end if anyone has one.
This afternoon I have my history class then tomorrow the last of my Uni classes until September. Hope everyone has a brilliant week-end and the sun shines for you all.Its a bit cloudy at the moment but not in the least cold which is good I guess, can't believe its almost mid-summers day already where has this year disappeared to
    Cheers Chums
