Need to vent 1st negative received

I am so angry  I have received my first negative after nearly 7 years Ebay, due to a non delivery/lost parcel the buyer left me a "never received".
There was no contact made at all to resolve the problem, I always refund for lost/never received and claim myself from RM.
Then tonight I notice that another buyer who purchased an item from me has proceeded to use my photo and listing details to sell on. Needless to say I have reported her to Ebay.
Just needed to vent, rant over!

it happens man - I just got my 100% back after a year the someone negged me over a piece of loose cotton thread on a article I sold ( sent it free and then had to pay for the return as well !! )
you just have to wait a few days to calm down then respond to the feedback with a well constructed response which casts a doubt on their sanity ( really !! )
remember what ever you respond with will be up there for a year now, for all your potential buyers to look at - so think about it ! and try and spin it into a positive ! :jAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -
Thanks tp, I have over 2200 feedback and worked hard to achieve 100%.
Some people should not be allowed to play on Ebay.0 -
I remember my first negative feedback, was about 4 years ago when sellers could leave buyers negative. I bought something which didn't work properly, emailed seller but they didn't email back so I left them a neutral. In return they gave me a lovely negative! Thank god sellers can't leave buyers negative feedback anymore!
It is very disheartening getting a negative when you know you are an honest person and would do anything to put things right.
As a buyer I'm not really put off if a seller just has one negative fedback. My daughters are my world0 -
As above, wait a few days before responding & then put something nice & polite. Do they leave many negs? If I check on a sellers neg feedback I always see how they responded. One neg wouldn't put me off.0

Thanks guys, have just checked feedback hermum and she has left 23 negs all the same "never received" and 6 neutrals, total pain in the *ss.0

I received a neg as a buyer once. I bought a pair of slippers which were sold as suede. Emailed to say they weren't and had no response. Emailed again etc. So I left a neg as they were not as described (This was back in the day when you couldn't do a PP claim on small amounts). I got left a neg as an awful buyer. I was horrified! It made no difference to me though in real life, thankfully!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Only ever had one neg, but it was the silliest thing, and about the second time I'd used ebay.
I bought something that was using the photo of the next model up, and left a neutral feedback saying so.
Next thing I know there's a red dot on my page saying that they didn't know they did another model.
Got to admit it put me off a bit, but it wasn't long before they brought in the positve only, which while it is a mad idea at least stops stupid stuff like that. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

she seems to have 'never received' alot of items, did you send it recorded ?
i know its hassle and more expensive but at least both you and the buyer have proof it was sent and proof it was received0 -

The problem with that is two fold. Firstly if a buyer wants to leave a neg, and this one does seem to be a bit trigger happy, then recorded can't stop that as they cna leave a neg for whatever they want.
Secondly, is it worth paying huge amounts of money for recorded just to have any chance against a buyer like this? You need to put this is perspective and work out how much of your profit you will waste on lining RMs pocket. An average of even 50 parcels a month for 7 years is 4200 items at the current prices would have cost £3108 to send recorded, is one neg worth that?
Yes a neg is horrible and some buyers just do it for fun, however they are very rare and it is unfortunate that the OP has come across one. The issue here was never really non receipt, it sounds like the buyer just likes negs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. And add her to your blocked bidder list.
One negative from a clearly difficult buyer would not put me off.0
