    Hi Fuzzy,

Thanks for posting this, I got a kitchen for my nephew and had it delivered today, the box was a bit battered but somehow I don't think he will be looking at the box :D

I love MSE it's saved me a fortune and a whole lot of worry, where would we all be without MSE?

    Thanks once again

That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me on here, just the way MSE should be( as i have been accused before of plugging web sites to much?),and your very welcome,as i love it when MSE'R save money,as i certainly do

  • so do I, it's actually put me off buying from them now - I wouldn't be demanding a replacement, I'd want a refund I'm afraid - if I want returned goods I'd go to a returned goods outlet.

    Hi,

I also ordered the kitchen play set together with some other things. It arrived today but was just wondering did everyone's set look new or not? Mine arrived in a very tattered box also which i don't mind. However what I was disappointed in was that the parts looked very used, dirty and marked. There are also the large cooking pot was missing (only had the lid). AND on the side of the box was stuck some 'happy birthday ' wrapping paper. Obviously this was a returned product. Maybe i'm just unlucky? Will contact the store and see what they say. I haven't put the set together yet so I don't even know if all the parts are there as theres no instructions either :( I hope they can send me a replacement.

Apart from that, the service is excellent and very fast! My order arrived the next day.

You are very understanding,i hope they will send you a replacement, brand new too,i should think so  Let us know how you get on...

They have a live chat to talk to someone, here's the link...hope this helps

I got one of the bubble machines - £5 with a large container of bubble solution. It is an electric version and needs a UK adaptor to work (a three pin to two pin one). Set it up yesterday but it kept cutting out after 20 seconds and not restarting again. Also to clean the part where you put the solution involves unscrewing a part (very small screws and quite fiddly).

I phoned up their customer service and told them I wanted a refund, no problem at all. Very pleasant experience. Overall I am very impressed with this company.

Also for anyone thinking of getting the bubbulator I won one of these and tried it yesterday. Great fun but it gets through bubble solution at a great rate of knots - one pot lasts about 20min. Imagine this would become a five minute wonder. Replacement pots of solution were £2.00.

Highly recommend the Wham-0 Slip and slide rider for £5 or was free with a £20 giant 3 ring family pool.

Also got the zorbit 6pk muslin squares in green/yellow (much are practical than white!). When it arrived it they were from Mothercare. Always a good present for new parents.

Hi, I have just read these posts and was looking to go and grab and bargain but have found the website will not load. Just wondered if this was something I was doing wrong or if anyone else had had the same problem this afternoon. Thanks

    Thanks fuzzyrazer.

Spoke to them on chat this morning and they were very apologetic and said they will send me out a replacement today. They assured me that all their stock is brand new. So if anyone receives one like mine should contact them to get it replaced. Although, i'm not sure where they will get stock from as online its currently out of stock...hhmm.. but then again the cot i brought with the order was also showing as out of stock at the time but i contacted them and apparantly they did have stock. So it might be worth contacting them for a more up to date stock status.

Hopefully a new kitchen set will arrive on monday like they promised. But will have to wait and see.
