be careful with xcite as it is Market made, nothing wrong with bagging profit until the air clears
but well done on anyone who is in there taking profit the next RNS is supposed to be big0 -
Agree Blinko.
I tried to top up with more this morning at 8am and told....'not enough stock around so limited to 500 shares'.
Last night there were some big trades around closing time. My broker said that it was the MM trying to buy more stock ready for today.
How far up can this go?
(what goes up also........)0 -

My guess is that it will reach the latest Arbuthnot target of around 235p, and possibly slide until getting drilling/flowrate news.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
lol jonbvn wouldn't happen to have sold would you???
Shorecap team buying massive today for clients and if i say too much more i'll be in bother but those long here will be making a vast amount of money in several days.
We're long from 70-75p region, just hope nobody took your 200p sell advice as we finish at a closing high. Watch this stock tomorrow ahead of the weekend guys.

ive so missed the boat here0

you most certainly have not blinko, XEL are funded up to production via o/t with BP and SEDA funding. Joined a few bulletin boards to see what the novices are writing and to be fair the boards appear fool free. Many mistaken XEL for an explorer rather than an E&P. Don't overlook the adjacent blocks they have won last week also. Could well be a £20 share this in the next year or so as it heads for 80000 bopd. Rock on.0

yeah but now is clearly a bad time to buy in, how much of this news is already afctored in
i rang my spread bet company tradefair and they wont give me a price on it as its MM
so im going to have wait for a puull back at some point I reckon
geez its painfuil i couldve got in at 180 easy peasy !!
but on a good news note my betfair short came in at 1375 and the spread has tightened so im expecting the market to close in a price for this sahre
which is nice i went from 50% loss in half a day to 14% thanks betfair, now looking for my next spread bet will keep posted
p.s boby check your pMs0 -
Being a pedant, the find was already confirmed. However, the commercial value of the find/well has increased during drilling. Reading between the lines of today's RNS (3rd quarter results), it seems to me that the CEO is extremely bullish.
One of the upside's to this stock is that it can be held in an ISA.
Burn those shorters! Ahhahahahahahaha
Bet you wish you were in XEL now when I tipped them back at 60p! Made enough to go out and spunk on a used Maserati if I cashed em in now boy but I am not selling at 2 quid, forget it! 6 quid target on XEL.
As for DES yes still in and still buying, it's safer now than ever, Rachel will be hit in the next few weeks and a quid will be a thing of the past
DES 10 quid by Q2 2011
:T
Off to go and have a lie down after todays performance from XEL and BMR!0 -
Well after reading some utter bullsh*t on here, I am very glad I didn't follow tips and plough into DES.
You don't know what you are on about mate, put with the utmost respect.
What bullsh*t have you read on here then?
DES are currently at a quid (106p) and are funded for 3 wells, yes they dropped 50% on news that Rachel 1 was dry, they then sidetracked and hit oil (25m of Oil Sands) and are now going to drill a vertical well and hit the motherload. It's a screaming buy at a quid.
Look at my XEL tip back in september, read the posts, if you had invested you would be over 100% up, which bank account offers that return? The Bank of Shatner does.
I can tio BMR and SXX to be the next GKP etc but as always DYOR!0 -

Not selling this stock (this year at least)?
Where did I tell anyone to sell at 200p?
BTW, I've been in this stock from below 50p:beer:
We are now at the broker's estimated price of 235p. Current rumours are for a RNS on Monday. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
