Whats the base worth of each of these shares. When we say downside that would be it I presume. If they own nothing but rights to drill then I assume the downside is zero worth still, RKH has definite reserves of ?
The well was flow tested for 18 hours at sustained rates in excess of 2,000 barrels per day with a maximum rate of 2,304 barrels per day
BP was throwing away ten times that amount every day on just one of their wells :p

I prefer HDY which funds costs of new drilling from its current profitable oil operations. Also its only a 10% partner in the drill so not subject to massive cash calls, relatively boring I guess but still alot of upside

GKP is aided by drill cost funding from central government I think, not certain on how strapped they would be for cash. Also Iraq is the new north sea 10x over almost certainly, falkland islands could be minor still right ?

RKH with another big jump today. Onto DES and XEL so hope they have some more significant rises to come.
  • DES and XEL are two good ones to be in and XEL retraced a bit last couple of days but when we get the flow rates and they exceed expectations then the current SP will look crazy.

You make it sound like it that an excellent flow-rate is beyond doubt. Clearly, it isn't. I guesstimate that it is somewhere between 70-85% (based on what I have read elsewhere). If the flow-rate is poor, then it could prove valueless.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
  • Don't invest then it's simple, I'd rather put a few bob on a 70-85% COS that it will flow and triple my money than not at all.

Also, if you had done some research then you would also know that if this is not flowing at the rate that we expect (circa 2000 bopd) then they will simply sell it on and make the money that way, WIN WIN situation all around.

Is anyone watching these? They are being tipped to go the same way as Rockhopper in July/August. ie. a 10-bagger share.

£9 within 3 months, £4 in 3 weeks, watch. Better than what RKH have.

DES are the next best thing imo. They will drill three wells from mid october and I reckon they will be 3 quid minimum by Xmas.

So how did DES work out for you?;)

Hope you didn't bet your house on them.

I'd have thought XEL could turn out to be the stock of 2010, now talk of a very very large commercial find. The drums are beating.
