Told you mate not to get out! Flow testing is ongoing, first signs are apparently good rates but we shall see when we get the RNS from the horses mouth so to speak, until then believe no one or trust anything!
i think they already know the rates are good, now they are just firming them up and will probably just complete the basic test,

i know what you said but i didnt like the way the situation was going but either way i am happy with my decision even if it does double

only thing i regret is not getting on to it earlier when i had the chqance

but you snooze you lose hey

Various unconfirmed sources have indicated that the flowrate is very good.

Expect an RNS tomorrow PM or Wednesday.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
• RNS out. Final Stabilised flow rate of 2900.

"The flow rates achieved demonstrate both the commerciality of the Bentley field and the reservoir properties to be above the upper end of modelled expectations. "

This is top end. Happy days! :j

Wow RNS much better than I could have ever expected!

The SP is following the usual pattern for good news of an early spike followed by a sell-off. I would suggest anyone holding not to sell just yet. There is much more to come (IMHO).

• Yep Arbuthnot have just released a revised broker note

DJ MARKET TALK: Arbuthnot Upgrades Xcite Energy To Strong Buy

0921 GMT [Dow Jones] Arbuthnot upgrades Xcite Energy (XEL.LN) to strong buy from neutral and lifts the price target to 600p from 247p. This follows the successful flow test of the well on the Bentley field. Says the company has successfully achieved what many thought would never happen. Says, "this is a transformational result for Xcite and given the scale of the opportunity in terms of reserves and production will put it on a par with several main board listed companies." Shares are up 19% at 381p. (andrea.tryphonides@dowjones.com)

Happy Happy Days, well done all the Believers and CarolRoy hope you have a fantastic Xmas and Prosperous and Helthy New Year!!!!

I use that too - mostly because you can see several different time periods at once. There is however a 15 minute delay on live prices, so probably not much good if you are trading ;)
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

I use moneyextra.com - via a webpage I wrote with iframes containing the pages for each of the shares I'm watching. Still a 15 min delay but close enough for me to decide whether or not to log onto X-O to see the real trading prices or not.
