Didn't post last week as I hadn't meal planned, I thought it would go to p00 but we've done rather well this week, even managing a good number of NSD's and used what we have in. I've meal planned this morning from today until the 8th August, I actually had enough in the freezer meat and fish wise to keep us going until then  I'll still need to get fruit & veg, milk and the like but the next couple of weeks should be fairly low spend weeks.

We go away mid July and aren't back until the beginning of August, so I've set our meals to use up what's in the freezer and made sure there is enough to feed us the first week back

. Should be easy to stick to the July budget as it's only 2 and a bit weeks long but I'll be cutting it by half just for that month and adding the other half to our holiday spends. Our holiday food comes out of a separate budget which we've been saving for since Xmas. I'm actually amazed that I've been able to do this and I'm determined to stick to my plan over the next 4 weeks, then when I get back I can restock the freezer again.

Mon – Slow Cooker Beef Curry & Rice
Tue - Steamed Salmon, New Pots, Green Beans & Parsley Sauce
Wed - Chilli, Bulgar Wheat & HM Corn Tortilla Chip’s
Thu - Quorn & Veg Dhansak Curry & Bulgar Wheat
Fri – Out for Tea
Sat – Out for Dinner & Tea
Sun – Tuna Baked Potatoes & Salad

Morning everyone,

We are trying to lose weight at the moment, but I also need to use things from the freezer to make room (I wish I had a big chest freezer!). So bit of a mixed bag this week:

Sun: Roast Pork, Mash & Veg
Mon: Pasta with Tomato & Veg Sauce (Mushrooms, Courgettes etc)
Tue: Beef, Mushrooms & Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce with Noodles
Wed: Baked Potato & Tuna
Thu: Chicken Kiev, Chips & Salad
Fri: Bacon, Eggs, Hash Browns, Beans, Mushrooms
Sat: Chicken Katsu Curry & Rice
Sun: Roast Chicken, Mash & Veg

This is subject to change as we may have a lot of hospital visiting this week, so it's a loose plan at the moment. Enjoy your week everyone. xx
