My customers are lovely, including those who collect. I have never had anyone offer short money but a good third will pay more than the item sold for. I am prompted to write by a nice young man who collected a £9.50 item just now, proffered £10 and would not take change.

Considering I also save on PayPal fees, and packing awkward parcels, I am happy to have goods collected.

my best or should I say worst collection was a double divan bed. The bloke turned up about 30 mins late and you know when they get out of the car they have that 'look', well he had an estate car, and then proceeded to ask me how he could get the two bases and a double mattress in there. IN the end after me getting some washing line to fold the mattress in half we stuffed it all in but without the boot closing, he was going to drive off like this and bearing in mind he had 20 miles to go on the busy A14, I wouldnt let him leave till we had tied the boot as shut as we could with washing line. He was pleased with it though.

Mind you it shows what he was like, about a fortnight later I had a message off ebay about him being dodgy and was banned(not their words) so I looked on his feedback for selling and the silly sod had been selling pirate dvds on ebay and when people had complained on feedback he had the audacity to reply to them quote" whats the problem would have cost you a lot more in the shop" didnt even deny it, I often wonder if the police got him.

Couldn't you have made his car bigger for him, what sort of seller are you?
I like the ones who message, asking if it will fit in their car. The dimensions are on the listing, go check. One lady wanted to know that then if it would fit under her stairs & lastly if she could put her stereo on it. Bid, win, pay put what you darn well like on it, I'm not the stereo police.
She did bid I delivered as no it wouldn't fit in her car & even put it under the stairs for her. Left her to ponder the stereo question though.
