Ethanol is always ethanol. There are no such machines.

Zero tolerancers should support 20 mg/100 ml blood as the zero limit (with corresponding breath and urine limits). It's measurable with sufficiently small uncertainty and can be defended in court. Field screening methods would give a pass/fail result (just). I think 20 is used in Sweden. Not sure but think used for airline pilots and public transport drivers.
