All you lot must have my buyers, watchers lots of them, as usual. 3 bidders, 1 item sold that's collection only. My geography's bad, thought it was around 150 miles away. On google maps it's 278 or 320 miles depending on the route taken. Guess that will be another NPB then, 4 so far in about a month.
    Now I'm sad.

I would say yes, but unfortunately I just had an item sell for...1p :o Epic fail. :rotfl: Not sure why, other than it was the third item in a row (the other two went for about a fiver).

Thankfully, I was just happy to get rid of it.

It could be that low prices make some bidders think 'cheap tat', whilst higher starting prices mean better quality.

    couple of thoughts:

either folks are drinking more with the footie being on and it always seems like a great idea and go on ebay after:beer:

or people are buying stuff for father's day?

Oi..blooming cheek. I'll have you know i sell good quality stuff. :D

Actually, I took the last box of Mills and Boon to a car boot this morning, absolutely nothing from that box sold, it wasn't even browsed so I am just warming up with a cup of tea and going to the recycling centre to dump them.

Well all my auctions from last week have been paid for and dispatched and almost half have feedback exchanged both ways. I've nothing listed now as I needed to have them all end in plenty of time for my holidays, just in case anyone was late paying.

I've even had people email to ask if I can get more (and all my stuff is unusual so this is not just one item that is popular) .

Serious question as I am really puzzled.

Is anyone else finding their auctions are going for silly money at the moment?

I research my business stock before listing and don't do low price starts, I always start at the minimum I will accept. Yet I've got items that other people can't sell at around £3 going for £20, I've got another item i started at £19.99 going for £63. This stock is all completely different, it isn't even stuff in the same category. The other odd thing is I have virtually no watchers, just bidders.

It's making me a bit nervous actually, the prices are getting silly.

I've even got relists that I couldn't sell previously at £9.99 now bid up to £21.

I've even sold something on ebid..which is even odder.

Soolin who is an expert on all things ebay will be along soon to give you some advice...
