Having negleted my diary since April and taken my eye off the ball, things have slipped somewhat and have decide to get back on the straight and narrow.
Going to continue with my different areas which need sorting out , de-cluttering and organizing and post regularly to keep myself motivated.

    Financial:
Need to re-do the budget and get this really sorted out. Things are very tight but progress can be made.
Made a good start by re-instating the spending diary.

    House:
Needs a good de-clutter and sort out. Once we know when the kitchen and heating is being done we can get on and start decorating.
Our bedroom has been de-cluttered this week so another start made.

    Garden:
Almost back under control. Greenhouse started again so that I can take cuttings etc.

    Health and Wellbeing:
Not too bad on that front. Need to get more sleep and continue with healthy eating.
Have started to reduce smoking from 28 a day and so far got to 20-23 a day- slow progress but progress.
    Knowledge and Learning:
Passed level 1 maths:jand enroll on thursday for level2.
    Creative:
Not much happening yet on that front.
    Christmas:
    Nothing happening there(yet)

So now that I have confessed to my slip ups will try and post regularly and get back on the straight and narrow.

Do other people find their moods effect their ability to debt bust and keep motivated?

Definitely, when my mood is low I just want to hide until it all goes away, it is a struggle to do anything meaningful, your diary is making me think about all of the jobs I keep putting off, I really should do more, but to be honest I CBA most of the time and then look around and kick myself for being lazy...:o
:) Been here for a long time and don't often post

I agree- I'm much more tempted to spend money on 'treats' or clothes or something to 'cheer myself up' but always end up feelin gworse in the end because I couldn't really afford it

What a busy weekend you had RM! I would really like to do fruit and veg shop at local market but I work Saturdays and OH doesn't want to shop without me :o Don't think there is much in the way of fruit and veg on a sunday- it's more like a car boot sale style items than the usual stuff

Interesting thoughts from Laura and Heffi(welcome by the way). My budget is really tight and doesn't really allow wriggle room, let alone space for the ever increasiing costs. But I find if I get low and let my spending diary slip, don't post here regularly then very quickly everything slips. My house is quite small and that soon looks a mess and the whole lot, house, debt busting etc all start to slip on the downward spiral.
The minute I jump back on the wagon every thing seems more under control again.
Think it must be a control issue- maybe I am a closset control freak.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yesterdays meatballs, using left over beef ended up being even more frugal as I made enough for an extra meal:jI like experiences like that.

A hectic few days but am keeping on the straight and narrow. Next week will be a bit harder to stick to all my aims as have to go to ex-father in laws' funeral, 80 miles away, supporting son and heir who's unemployed and has no money.

    Financial:

1st lot of stuff gone from bedrooms to charity shop.
    1st clutter on ebay -selling:j
1st clutter on local FB page and not selling:eek:will try Ebay on buyer collect and then out it goes.

    Garden:
First seeds(zinnia) have germinated and fushia cuttings taken(not sure about them)
    Lawn needs cutting this week.
    Cleaned out 1st wheelie bin:eek:
    Health and Wellbeing:
Ok on that front. Beginning to feel tired again so goibg to try and have some early nights.

    Knowledge and Learning:
Enrolled for level 2 maths start on 25th.

    Creative:
Nothing done on that front but have made jams and jellies.

    Frugal Food:
