-My birthday today and I am determined I am going to be nice to myself today :jAm just going to potter around and do whatever I fancy.

Having a good week so far. We wanted a TV and a futon/sofa bed for our spare room, so that we could use the room as an extra room and not a dumping ground. Were planning how we could fund that on Saturday, son and heir phones and offers us his old TV. So only futon to sort there.

As part of my make over of myself I was desperate for a haircut and restyle. Tuesday I have a phone call offereing me just that and free:jthanks to a prize draw that OH did. Had it done yesterday and very pleased.

Saturday we were also talking about researching changing our electricity provider in the next week or so. Yesterday evening we had a rep from EDF and have switched saving us £170 a year.:j

So 3 things sorted for minimum effort.

Bluejeans: Glad it worked! Welcome back.

So far having a lovely day - the luxury of a long soak in bath, done nails, finished my book and then started getting twitchy:eek:so did the ironing and have painted another cupboard.

Celebrations proper once OH home and my son coming this evening.

Going to maybe either sit in the garden and read or sew this afternoon.

Another week has gone by and today is my day off. We are away for Easter at my brothers, can't wait!

Am half way through the weekly housework blitz and seem to be getting more distracted by the minute.
Why is it that the more you de-clutter the more cluttered the house looks?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Also why did 3 new house plants warrant an entire spring clean and move around of the conservatory?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been a good few days, no real progress but no disasters either so that's good.

Plan to finish the housework this afternoon and to scrutinize my wardrobe prior to my shopping spree on Saturday. (Birthday money for clothes)

Have studied Gok and have a bit more of an idea of what I like and want, just can't quite decide on my body shape:eek:guess I'll just have to try everything on.
Sadly, I detest shopping for clothes, I'd rather shop for the house and garden.

Right off for a bit more of a blitz.
