I'm not sure that implying the OP deliberately got their car damaged by a shopping trolly in very helpful. Whilst I think we can accept that the OP, in all probability based the information available, wasn't to blame, that doesn't automatically lead to the owner of the trolly being at fault. Sometimes, shlt happens.
Abscured?...is that a word?0 -

With stray trolley's, I normally spot them and move them myself before they have chance to get blown around in the wind! Most people think "look at that, some lazy git hasn't put thier trolley back" and in the same breath "Im not moving that, I didn't put it there".
The very first time I got sick of the moaning and parked near to the shop (just to keep the peace), some old fart crashed into my car.....

so the same as everyone else then, you either fix it or accept the car is worth less
or do you feel you shouldnt have to worry about such things?0 -
Cars in supermarket carparks get knocked my trolleys. They also get scraped by people walking between them.
This is a fact of owning a motor vehicle.
Accept it and move on.

As anyone considered it could of been a plain clothes shopping trolley on a cover mission?Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0
