Hi all,
Hope we all having a great day, week or month. With the football season running too.
Just wanted to ask a simple question about insurance.
I am about starting a new role within the Public Sector and the Agency I am working through with my LTD company wants me to hold professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance to a minimum value of £1 million.
Just want to know if any one knows the best way or best firm that will give me the possible cheapest quote I can get.
I have always thought of this as pure waste of money but well, I have go with the requirements I guess.
thanks all!!

Suggest you contact a broker that specialises in PI insurance and explain exactly what you require.0

What sector do you work in? Are you contracting or will you be an employee?0

You would only need the covers if you are self employed, contracting your services to the public sector body. Otherwise, your employer would be expected to put the cover in place.
As bouncydog suggest, speak to an insurance broker about this. See the BIBA site for details of local firms in your area.

Avoid the likes of Swinton and Endsleigh - they are only geared up to deal with domestic insurances.0 -

You can get discounted PPI if you join the Professional Contractor's Group (PCG), They have other benefits as well but the insurance discount is a biggie.0
