Morning everyone
Hope everyone is ok. I know it's been ages since I posted.
Bright and sunny here this morning, hope it will last, yesterday started like this but when I went up the town at lunch time it was a bit chilly.
Done a bit of tidying round, place doesn't look too bad, got a new sideboard at the weekend so all the junk is now hidden
Chicken and potato salad for lunch, just put it all together. Tea will depend if OH is home or not, if he is will prob be jacket potato with something, if he isn't I will probably take a curry or chilli out of the freezer (he doesn't eat either, so when I make one I get a lot of portions to freeze)
Need to get a hair dye at lunchtime, too much grey showing through.
Stomach is rumbling, realised I haven't had breakfast yet! Best get something quick.
Have a good day xwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Good Morning All. Not very bright here, but hopefully the sun will shine out soon. No washing today as basket is virtually empty! Sadly ironing mountain has grown considerably... Friends arriving tomorrow for overnight stay, so have to sort bedrooms. Coursework to be done before Friday, so ought to knuckle down to that as well. Managed to take everything worth keeping from freezer and deposited around the neighbourhood, but am ashamed at the amount of unlabelled/unwrapped junk lurking at the bottom. Hopefully it'll be easier to keep track with an upright rather than a chest model. Right, off to get started! Hope you all have a reasonable day - take care!Resolution:

Morning All,
I will be quick I promise. Work thid morning, pack up's donw, had to strip and clean my bed this morning as my friend AF arrived in the night
I have only one ovary, you'd think the damn thing would just do it's job instead of working overtime, I am sick fed up with it! Grr face here. I am in a foul mood and don't want to go there as my back is so sore. I am really sorry to be such a pain today, but I am feeling really sorry for myself. I'll be back later and be my normal self again.
Hope you are all OK, and those of you worried and poorly have a hug from me, all have a good day today.
Tappers, I found the scrabble, and will be well up for a game tonight:D

Right then!
DS1 has been deposited at work, DH at his course, DS2 made his way to tech on the bus and DD is spending her first day with DHs mum...i'm a bit nervous - not that I think she won't be looked after but they don't know her IYSWIM. Anyway head down to some work and hopefully the day will pass quickly.
Beautiful day here - blue skies and sunshire.
I've been asked to drop in and see the community leader afer work so I'll see what's what properly then although if the threat of violence has been raised thats a big improvement. I don't think the men that called expected me to make such a public fuss....just shows they don't know me or my kids. Hopefully this can be resolved peacefully.
Bitsy hope you are feeling better today, JackieG - I think my 'friend's' on her way too...I just sat and scowled last night
NPM - hope you are settled now your baby's back

Well, we've just been told that my employers are making over 4% of the staff redundant directly due to the local authority cuts imposed by Messrs Cameron & Clegg. Hopefully I won't be affected this time, but it makes the office a very unhappy place to be today

Morning all:j
Yes he is back! Got back at 6.30 last night. His first words were " there was a problem with the ham!" He then wanted his pancakes for tea as it was Tuesday.:rotfl:
He seems to have been ok apart from a few minor meltdowns:o
He has gone to school and seemed to settle ok even though he was worried that they may have forgotten who he was and that he went there:D....if only that could happen at my work:cool:.
I phoned the ward he is going on for his minor op next Fri and he is going on Weds afternoon for a look around and they are booking him the side ward and they also do symbols and timelines which is good news.
I have men coming to replace our windows tomorrow and Fri so OH is off as I can`t be doing with workmen in all day.
Not sure whats for tea.....Taplady has made me fancy a cheese pie;).
Bitsy hope you are feeling better today
Happy birthday Taplord:T0 -
Glad to hear it's all back to normal straight away NPM. HE sounds like a dote.
Well my news is that I gave up at 10.30 and came home sick. I am in the most horrendous pain. One of the women has suggested I call the doc and ask for a pain or steroid injection to see if that gives me any relief at all, so will call this afternoon once I've had a rest. It's my own fault too, for being so bloody fat. If I didn't have all this to carry as well, it might not be so bad. Poor body, what have I done to it, I need it lasting me at least another forty years so I'd better get it sorted out.
I have called my BIL and asked him to come cut my grass and help me with some heavy stuff in the garden, and he has agreed which is great, hopefully he'll be up tonight. My anenomes have started to flower, I planted them a few days apart, and there were some bald spots in the pots, so I mixed them all up the other day. They are such beautiful flowers ant the colours are amazing, at the moments the ones which are out, are red purple and deep pink, they look a bit like poppies. I've never seen them before and am very impressed. Fuschias are coming out now, too. Those were an Aldi bargain. And I got a gorgeous standard fuschia last week for a £10, reduced from £22. It has a huge amount of buds, and is stunning. I felt so happy coming into the drive and seeing them all, they really made me smile.
Coco was delighted to se me, although the postman hadn't been yet;) so she wasn't in trouble, and she's now sunbathing out the back.
Sorry for being such a whinge this morning I am feeling much more like myself now.
Off for a cuppa and an invisible cake - yum, think I'll have a giant pavlova all to myself. Slurp.

NPM - enjoy your cheese pie! glad noah is safely back:)
my back's a bit sore but nothing compared to what others have to put up with - overdid the cleaning at Mums I think so am not doing too much this afternoon apart from making DHs cake.
just having a salad sarnie for lunch.
