Vent Re: Nasty Posts

For starters I am not a troll, if you look through my past posts they all have been genuine questions. I have not been back on MSE since yesterday due to my illness.
I posted the thread because I have seen unfriendly replies and there is really no need for it. Positive replies or no replies are better than someone knocking another person down when they come onto this site for help, they could be really in turmoil because of their circumstances and someone being rude and derogatory towards them would really not help.
As for anyone who gave me a personal jibe about past posts or my reasoning behind this thread, well its really water off a ducks back.
I don't need to be told that this is a scary world and not everyone is nice, I live in Northern Ireland and have seen people shot, bombed and murdered for no reason, I have recently lost my Dad to lung cancer and nursed him 24 hours a day until the cancer won. No one needs to remind me of how cruel this world is.
Thank you to the members that "thanked" me for my thread and the couple of PM's I got. Maybe if some of you looked at how many people thanked me and how many of those people actually said anything in this thread it might help you understand that some feel uneasy about posting their thoughts only to be shot down.

I have no malice against anyone and hopes everyone has a great wee evening.
