Tesco misprice policy discussion area part 8

Have been to tesco watford today, all the electrical and mobile goodies are correctly priced and there were no scanners in the store to check goods.

The local tesco to me does have a scanner but it doesn't work..... but always used to. Do you think they are on us?.... its not the first scanner that I have heard no-longer works....:mad:

Hi all,

I'm new to this R&R thing. Are all the Tesco stores run on a centralised till network? What I mean is, do things ring through the tills for the same amount in all stores.

For example I saw a Star Wars Nintendo Gameboy mentioned above as going through the till at £19.99 but had a SEL of £14.97. In my local store it has the same SEL but will it go through at £19.99?

Take it to the self scanner or get the staff to scan it for you...

my first R&R on the finest silverside beef joint this afternoon. The CS lady did go back to check and was a bit grumbly as she told the manager to remove it yesterday! However she still gave me full refund of £6.97 and removed sels!

daveytod.... prob... it would go through.. but they do up date their data so it might get ammended.... so you could let it go through with your shopping and if it doesnt scan higher.. just take it cs for refund say that you just phoned home and kid has all ready got it or something like that ...you win some you lose some.. trial and error...

What about tesco taking MY photograph without express permission (from cctv)?

And if they claim it's because they have signs up declaring they do, with the DPA info etc, then how is that different from me wearing a badge (no matter how obscured by clothing) proclaiming that I will be recording?

Obviously the I/MY in this post doesn't actually relate to me, I hate cameras and wouldn't own one but you get my drift..

when you spot a misprice
i keep making my husband mad as i get him to drive to the tesco in our area
i have a list of mipriced items from this site
when i check them out they are the correct price
