Would just like to say that I've visited 4 different stores this evening and spoke on my mobile to my OH inside the store in 2 diff stores.
Perhaps the store you where in just had a bad reception? Or maybe we get a good reception here in Coventry? I don't know the answer to that. Just thought I'd mention it tho.

Until the manager moves on ?
For 12 months ?
For life ?
While ever your face is remembered ?
If there has been a turnover of staff, and you don't use your tesco card or cc, and you don't draw undue attention to yourself by trying for a laptop on the R&R (;) ) how effective is a ban....?
Wondered about not just those of you who have been banned, but also Tesco cs/managers and those in the security profession. What are your views on Banning people, and how easy/hard is it to enforce ?

Ok for the Washing machine was bolox but who was it that started things with a fake plasma or lcd screen actually posted in the misprices thread, you had to be quick to see it as it was removed i noticed a problem as the description was sony viera screen and panasonic make viera not sony. it wasnt bleugh.

but the laptops I have seen various sels for quite a few laptops as there are loads of offers on pc's and laptops at the moment so it is possible that he got a laptop I know I have been checking the laptops but they have all seem to have droped in price this last week I dont know some may have gone up I hadnt been keeping an eye on them with all the console stuff.

bassman and taxiphil I think you both need to take a look at what your doing you are both on low post counts and just seem to have jumped in to the misprices thing receintly and have been stiring up !!!! along with the suit guy regarding the consoles this thread was created to loose the consoles chat that had taken over thread 7 whihc was going well then someone posted about them and they took over again and all the newbies jumped in and have been posting or signing up so they can as questions trying to get a free 360 when the laptop post was put in the misprices thread everyone wanted that and we got even more people posting asking questions without reading much of the existing thread I would even sugest they never looked at the first post some of them and that annoys me more than anything they want it on a plate and so many non misprice posts in the misprices only thread have ALL been from new members asiking the same questions whats a SEL what R+R where are scanners how can I get free stuff it is getting boring unfortunalty people will continue asking if we reply with the answer we ALL need to start refering people to read the thread this thread has grown by a load of pages this evening.

nah, it's something I picked up from reading the BEANO comic back in the early eighties, kinda liked it and have stuck with it for some of my onlne ID's

My first R&R today but it's only for 97p.

I bought a value brown paper packaging set. Loads on the shelf, no price on box or package but shelf price 47p. Paid at self scan 97p. Went to CS and she said she would go and check. I asked my OH to follow her as I know they remove shelf tickets. Sure enough she looked at the shelf and said the item I had, which were in one of the two boxes with a shelf price of 47p, had a different bar code - even though the description was the same VALUE PACKAGING PACK. She then removed an "item not available label" from the top shelf which said 97p for VALUE PACKAGING PACK. She then said on this ocassion she would only charge me 47p. I referred her to the notice behind her and she said it didn't apply because it was a different bar code and the items had just been placed on the wrong shelf. My OH pointed out that the correct shelf price was covered with an unavailble sign which she removed so they were being misleading about the price as it's unreasonable to expect consumers to check every bar code. She still refused so I said fine I will contact the manager and HO as there was a principle at stake. She gave me my 97p and I kept the item.:T

Still emailed HO to complain though!!

As for me "stirring things up"......Until today I was quite happy to ignore Bluff....but I think this episode is pretty low........

You are correct about the newbies.....So why dont we all have a standard answer........"Read Post 1 .......and follow from there until you get the jist of RnR ing......"

I myself am on a bit of a crusade.....as the duty manager's reason for refusing my RnR was ...."its too much money"......and getting banned put the icing on it...
