Hiya Lisa O - I'm auditing/mystery shopping in Newport Rd tomorrow - will check the misprice thread to see if you have posted your finds on there as I will be out and about tomorrow.

I would have thought that if a long time regular posts something in the "misprices only" thread, then its probably genuine, but if he/she posts it in the "discussion only" thread in amongst the teeming masses asking how to get a free xbox or free laptop, then maybe it was meant for a little fun and shouldnt be taken quite so seriously especially with the 10 min window from plymouth to glasgow

...... and going completely against what i just said above, (because I cant be bothered swapping threads to post and I know this one has been posted already anyway) I managed to find a nice LG C3300 in pink mobile phone today for the amazing price of £44.96 although unfortunately I was charged £49.99 ... thanks for the refund to our favourite superstore

Ummm...don't want to get in the way of the argument here, but just wanted to say thanks for all the constructive advice on here. I had two big Finest beef joints overpriced tonight and because of the info I've had on here, I politely stood my ground despite their efforts to fob me off at all costs and eventually got a full R&R. It may only have been £13, but I was delighted - if I hadn't read the advice on here, I would have caved in!

There were loads of pork joints too, but I've posted them on the misprices thread for others to get.....I'm happy with my little effort and after all, this isn't a race to see who can have the highest total in their signature.

there's a group on MSN that someone tried starting maybe a year ago, but there are few posts on that :-(

as for locking this thread, yep, it's exposing the nasty side of things 'moneysaving' is what this site's about, NOT 'moneygrabbing'

Hiya mate, my phone doesn't work in any of the Tescos that I have visited as i've tried to do exactly what you suggest in the past. Something to do with the metal roof, I think.

So if you are standing there saying 'buy, buy, sell, sell' you will look a right berk as everyone knows that phones don't work.

A welcome distraction..........Were they the £7.29kg down to £6.29kg T/S, T/R and SS Roasts.........I had quite a discussion with the meat department Wednesday about these in one store......but eventually they cracked...although they kept all the Sels in place, as they still maintain their pricing is correct, and the £6.29kg only applies to the medium sized joints.........

Cardiff is about 30 min drive for me, I only really 'hit' those stores a couple of times a month, I usually get as far as bridgend, sometimes ystrad! been banned from R+Ring at pengham for a £150 meat and cheese R+R back a while ago with the finest 20% off debacle!

I hit my 'home' stores quite regularly though :-)

nice to know who the competition are though :-), never seem to get much luck at western avenue nowadays, the staff are taken to saying 'thats NOT the SEL for that product'

i mean, how many egg shaped things with dragons in them to megablox make??, answer ONLY ONE TYPE, and of course the barcode on the SEL won't match, there are 4 varieties.

I've had a few big R+R at that store in the past, so i'ts not worth arguing over the smaller ones

I think you need to RnR a better phone ........lol.....
