  • Doubt they open on Sunday.

Keep the rest of the bird and packaging, return it to the store as soon as possible. Bit late now as they are about to shut, but have you rung the store so they can check the rest from that batch? Get their temperature probe/procedures checked?

Dundee would refer you to the store in the first instance I would think. Have had to deal with exactly that complaint myself before. Thankfully no one got ill, just "ruined a dinner party for 10".

Its always a dinner party for 10. Or a pure silk suit. Funny that.

Thanks for that, Constantine... No party of 10 here. It was just going to be used for sandwiches. The store's asked me to freeze it and await a phone call from the section manager.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I still have an outstanding case for Mr T to answer, and when I get a decision(either way) I would like to let the forum know of that decision.

Perhaps Constantine could reveal the mysterious code that Tesco employees punch into the scanners to miraculously bring them back to life? Probably not. LOL.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
