No, go on, tell me.
By the way, CS in Dundee are closed on Sunday. I'm gutted as I urgently need to speak to them regarding having an R+R refused this evening.0 -
Laneyboo wrote:no wonder! i usually return the items if they go through at the higher price for a full refund, couldnt imagine picking up 4 packs of finest steak and paying for it, my OH would flip! lol just a tip, you can say sorry i picked up the wrong ones or my little boy must of snuck these in can i put them back please.. or at worst i have an allergy to XX thats in these can i put them back please and get a full refund!
If you get a particularly nasty CS person, be careful they don't try and enforce the '20 minute rule' with regard to meat refunds.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
What I tend to find with misprices that I have rarely found is that once I have been overcharged and get my refund, CS will remove the SEL which stops anyone else having the same R&R. Yes I know sometimes they do not remove the SEL but from my limited experience they tend to at my local stores. Which means that in that store the misprice will not be there but it can be nationwide so worth checking at other stores too

Whats the 20 minute rule, does that mean you mustn't have the goods in your possession for 20 mins before return?
Also, any MSE'rs in Cornwall, are there any self scanners in the county? I only know of 2 in the tesco extra at Pool, Redruth and they never work.0 -

No. It is to do with chilled products being out of the cold chain for more than 20 minutes. Tesco do not (normally) accept items back that have been out of chill for over 20 minutes.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Constantine, does CS open on Sundays? I have a couple of complaints that need addressing by Dundee. I bought a chicken this evening (Rotisserie) and the thing doesn't seem cooked. I've eaten some of it and it really isn't right. If I come down with food poisoning, I won't be a happy chappy! In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I knew that I was probably onto aloser..but thought i would give it ago anyway..
found some Mobiles leaflets in local store, they were at the tills, took it to CS who were adamant that there was nothing they coul do..they called manager who would only offer me refund of difference..he said that as the price was correct on the SEL the policy did not apply. when the cashier put it through the till she did not give me the free £20 airtime either0 -

Doubt they open on Sunday.
Keep the rest of the bird and packaging, return it to the store as soon as possible. Bit late now as they are about to shut, but have you rung the store so they can check the rest from that batch? Get their temperature probe/procedures checked?
Dundee would refer you to the store in the first instance I would think. Have had to deal with exactly that complaint myself before. Thankfully no one got ill, just "ruined a dinner party for 10".
Its always a dinner party for 10. Or a pure silk suit. Funny that. :cool:Who or what was I before you came in to my life
