Also Westcott/Aviva was wiped out, the benefits overpayment is being payed back, although where I'm up to with that I have no idea and the RAC is going down.

I also haven't taken out any new debts, but I haven't taken out that DRO either.

I just read the electric and it's showing £45.05
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

I've just read your diary. I'm really impressed that you've cleared so much debt and in such difficult circumstances.

Really sorry to read about your daughter, our son died five years ago aged 11 and it certainly knocked our finances. What with the treats to try and make things right for our other children and not wanting to focus on how much the outgoings were compared to our income the debts started to build up.

Good luck with your quest to be debt free.

Hi thanks KP & Keggie. I fear it's all going to look a lot worse when I update that water bill. I studiously ignored it for a very long time and if memory serves it's now at around £719. At least I've aranged to pay it now though, directly out of my benefits. I'm not sure at what rate though because of the £10.50 they're going to take a greater proportion is for the water I use as I use it than for the debt accrued.

Baby is here by the way, she's a sunny, happy and very pretty little 5 month old girl.

I think I'm going to use here as a place to log the DCA harrassment too. So 1.54pm today call from "Alan" at what I initially heard as Noel Financial, I said I'd never heard of them and hung up. In hindsight that will have been Lowells. Go on Lowells, make my day, on the third call I send the phone harrassment letter. 2 More please. Soonish.

Have you managed to look into the SouthWestWater trust fund thing that you mentioned back in post no.39 - that would really help you out if you got some help with that.
