So To Do for tomorrow in order of importance:
    1. Buy more gas and electric, both are in emergency (gas is totally off).
    2. Pay landlord £30
    3. Pay sister £10
    4. Phone E.On regarding the bloody gas arrears if they still don't show after that.
    5. Call Aviva and tell them that I have moved house, then if thier numbers aren't £102 then get a prove it letter off to them too.
    6. Call Orange, double check amount owed again and record the result here.
    7. Write to bloody Moorcroft again.
    8. Update pink pocket diary with times and dates of outgoings including Plan International and Yes Insurance as well as all the appointments in the pile of papers in the kitchen and the kitchen calendar before you forget again!
    9. Start a spending diary with a view to a SOA before I see the charity lady- eek.

I must try to discipline myself to try to do at least one of these tonight.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

    5. Called Aviva 21.15h on 0844 891 1101 (car insurance Customer Services Number from the website), gave registration of old car, was told “we appear to be having some technical problems so we can’t take your call right now, we hope to be up and running soon so please call again another time, thanks”
Called again 21.18h on 0800 068 3661 (the old Norwich Union number from the paperwork), this time input the account number from the old paperwork, given same message

    6. Called Orange at 21.26h on 07973 100 150 (pay monthly accounts number from the web) the automated service did not recognise my old number so need to try again tomorrow. Noticed though on old bill that the having difficulty with your bill department are on 07973 100 178 and are only open 9am-8pm Mon-Fri, whereas the general number is open until 10pm.

    1. DONE. Bought gas and electric, the electric took 45p for the arrears bringing the total down to £136.85
    2. DONE. Paid landlord £30
    3. DONE. Paid sister £10
    4. DONE. Called E.On just now, whose spotty sounding teenager says that since they last sent the message to the machine on 12th June that I have only topped up once on 16th and it is my own fault because a message takes three top ups to succeed... Oh really, so in the whole 4/5 weeks that have since passed I topped up once did I? This morning was the fourth time and it's the third or fourth time I have had the same problem, which has been outstanding a whole bloody year!
I am frustrated and angry now and seriously considering hanging this one out for a statute barring too. The supervisor wasn't any better, patronising bloody cow, what you will get by return of post my lass is a sh!tty letter to say I WONT PAY, see how quickly E.On fix thier systems then and see if I care if they don't!!! RARRRRRRRR

    5. F*cking AVIVA!!!:mad::mad: As if E.On weren't bad enough Aviva are now saying that I owe them £105.12p (which is fine, whatever) but that they wont change the address they have for me on thier records. So HOW am I meant to corresspond about this debt then? Just go back to the old house and knock on the door and ask for the bloody post?

What's the matter with the bloody world this morning, is there something wrong with my money???

    6. Well that's good, "Kate" from Orange confirmed at 9.10am this morning that the account was passed to Moorcroft, who are acting on behalf of Orange and that Moorcroft haven't bought the debt. She also confirmed that the amount of the debt was £399.65... Oh Moorcroft, you are such very fair targets for this morning's rage, I am much cheered by this fact! :j:T Oh I will see that there is a fuss about this, this little fact has saved my morning. :D (Just for the sake of making a note I said when I called that I was calling to arrange a repayment plan)

I'm off to enjoy No.7 and I will be back to deal with 7. and 8. after.

    New debt totals

    Cleared...
    [STRIKE]Council tax arrears £161.29[/STRIKE] Cleared
    [STRIKE]Empire £131.00[/STRIKE] Cleared

    Under control...

    Electric arrears [STRIKE]£158.85[/STRIKE] Now £136.85

Yes Insurance (car) [STRIKE]£338.23[/STRIKE] Now £276.75
    Rent arrears [STRIKE]£779.28[/STRIKE] Now £650.28

    Gas arrears £599.03
    Moorcroft/Orange £539.65
    Water arrears £463.58

This makes a total original debt of £5994.03, of which I now have paid £624.77 (10.42%) and have £5369.26 (89.58%) remaining.

    TO DO BY MON MORNING:

    1) Get maternity grant paperwork off.

2a) Find the Orange Paperwork and read it.
2b) Write to Orange for a final account.
2c) Update the Moorcroft are lying thread.

3a) Organise the paperwork from Empire.
3b) Consider what to do about the default notices, perhaps post here, perhaps write more letters.

    4a) Organise the rent folder.
4b) Write to the estate manager about why I have been behind on the rent arrears repayments and that I have now put myself ahead and intend to stay ahead.

    5) Write a letter to Halifax asking for the £15 charge from a couple of months ago to be refunded.

    6) Write a letter of complaint to Approved Food about the scampi NikNaks being beyond vile (you need every penny).

    7) Write to Aviva to say well I'd like to pay you, but until you acknowledge that I have moved house I actually can't so please write back!

    8) Write to E.On to say do you know what, it's not my problem actually, it's yours. I have already been more than co-operative about this debt. You can either add £5 a week to my meter as I have repeatedly given you authority to do, or not. But I'm not going to be wasting my money calling you anymore only to be made to feel patronised and scapegoated for your system failures. A year is plenty long enough. While we're on the topic a £50 appology/bill reduction is in order for the offence caused, for my time and for my phone bills too I reckon.

9a) Sort the pink diary out with appointments and Direct Debit dates. (Yes Insurance, Plan and BT).
9b) Update spending diary by £43.14 to BT by DD yesterday and look up what that Asda reciept actually said.
9c) Go through the receipt pile and throw out what isn't actually needed. Also be sure to find the ones that actually are.

    10) Get the blinking printer wired up and work out what's wrong with it. *Groan*

    11) Take those old text books round to Kate, you know you need the space, don't be so lazy.

    12) Return shoes to Big Shoe Boutique.

    13) Return t-shirts to Push.

    14) Send photographic evidence to RedBubble.

    15) Return baby t-shirt to nappyhead.

    16) Return charity badges/bands and include donation.

    17) Post Juliette's present.

    18) That handbag that someone bought on eBay only has to go to a village near where I'm going on Tuesday. I must check it out on a route finder or A-Z and get it ready to drop through thier letter box on Tuesday if it doesn't look too remote (saving a few quid at the Post Office). Note to self: If asked for a refund only refund the postage less the additional petrol and ebay/paypal fees- the idea is not to make a loss!

    19) Phone eBay about unfair feedback being left by scamster if still no response.

The ones below the line require going to the post office and sending the parcels which I can't do until I have money on Tuesday, but I can prep them and get them in a big bag ready. C'mon Hannah, you can do it. Start with tidying up the living room- then the filing will come naturally.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.

Grumpy bl**dy phone call just now...

"Hi *Hannah* I'm John calling from *some company I've never heard of- Debt Clear someone or other* I just need to let you know about a piece of government legislation...."

*Interrupts* "Right well I wanna let YOU know about a bit of government legislation! It's called the Data Protection Act 1996 and I hereby verbally demand you get my name of your mailing lists!" *puts phone down*

Ok so that probably did no good whatsoever but ahhhhh I enjoyed it. :D:cool::p

Paid sister another tenner, found out that the £99 I thought I'd paid on the rent was actually £100, and the electricity debt is now down to £133.00 so it's time for new totals I think.

    Cleared...

    Council tax arrears £161.29 Cleared
    Empire £131.00 Cleared

    Under control...

    Electric arrears £158.85 Now £133
    My Sister £450* Now £320*
Yes Insurance (car) £338.23 Now £276.75
    Rent arrears £779.28 Now £649.28

    Not under control...
    Barclays Bank £2268
    Gas arrears £599.03
    Moorcroft/Orange £539.65
    Water arrears £463.58
    Aviva £105.12

This makes a total original debt of £5994.03, of which I now have paid £642.62 (10.72%) and have £5369.26 (89.28%) remaining.
