Whos fault is it when Sky drops you from 3Mb to 0.5Mb and then blame the phone line? Since leaving Sky I get 6Mb.
Sky is rubbish for broadband.0 -
I have also had nothing but trouble from sky and the contracted instalation team that installed my sky+ (well i say installed!!!) to begin with when they first installed my sky+ on the day they arrived because i live in a flat i was told that i would not be able to record anything unless i was watching because i only had a single feed into the building when asked why nobody told me this when i organised the instalation the enginner told me that when the customers were told in advance they would always cancel! also whe it was installed the engineer failed to connect my interactive services which i then had to wait 3 weeks to get somebody back to fix, also the installation was so badly done i had to disconnect all the wireing as it was dangerous. but between sky and there contract instlation team nobody would take responsabilty for it. when i finally got it sorted i now lose my signal if i rewind or pause anything i watch i have to switch my sky+ box off to be able to watch the tv again. the broadband and phone are the worst i have ever had and dont trust anyone from sky that ring you with any offers i was contacted by there team with a free 2 months movies and music, but when checking my bill i found out that it wasnt free but i had been charged half price! get an email from them with anything you do always get a paper trail to back you up. ROLL ON 12 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the installation team sky use are called TOPLINE avoid them at all cost.

hi Dan.I've got HD and plays up now and again.Done all the usual stuff IE check cables cut down high trees:mad: then was told by a mate who works for sky that when they changed my sky over to sky+ they should have put the original dont know what you call it (the nose part) cos the one on it now is to short??? would that be true....daniel.thomas4 wrote: »hi susan,
I work for sky and will do my best to help.
I dont have any details for you... but.
as far as your HD goes if you have had it under 12mth we should come out and fix the box for free.
if you have had it over 12 mths then im affraid its down to the rep you speak to over the phone if the charge you or not.
as for the BB im a little lost why that would happen.
Did you have the BB upgraded before having the multiroom??
check the DSL filters in the house, Is there one on the multiroom box.(thats important) we do get reports of multiroom boxes without filters...0 -
Have you checked that all your DSL filters are a) intact and b) working?0

Hi john,
Ok well im sorry to be the one with more bad news,
If you still only have one feed to your sky box then you cant pause or rewind tv, The sky boxes dont like it at all as they need the second feed. Thats not to say they wont do it but theyy really dont like it at all and we try and advise that if you dont have 2 feeds you cant get sky+, its not so bad with the HD boxes as you can set them to run with just one feed.
what seems to be the problem with the phone and BB.
also do you have a dish for the whole block of flats or is there more than one on the building?0
