On the subject of remaining stink-free, I'm yet to find out if this is an urban myth or true

    Origin of a Bride's bouquet:

"Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, if they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odour"

    PHEW!

I say we pay for the water we use, have a nice relaxing bath (unless your on a water meter) then have a shower.
I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.
  • I don't have a shower either but I've got a shower head thing that attaches to the taps of the bath, that way I can have a shower and not use much water without actually haveng a shower installed. It can be a bit annoying because it's not exactly hands free like a shower but it works for me

You pay for what you use, and you use more in a bath.

I've got a shower that works like that, and as I have a boiler that heats water directly, it seems to be very high power so it's like a power shower without the cost! If I put the plug in (which I do sometimes to soak my feet for hard skin removal) then even if I wash and deep condition my hair, shave legs, pits and bikini, exfoliate whole body and then wash, it still only gets up to my shins. So a bath is very wasteful of water.

you use a load more water in a bath so it costs you more. Then you end up sitting in your own muck for a bit getting dirty again.

If you've got one of the tap mounted showers you can get wall mounts for them and turn it into a (half decent) proper shower.
