see the samsung wave review http://www.t3.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/samsung-wave-review

before blindly going to a store and checking out the desire, it would be advisable to see a few videos online to see what it can do. see a few videos here http://www.geekanoids.co.uk/reviews/tag/htc and a lot more on youtube. the desire might need a bit getting used to but i find it much better than an iphone. i dont have an iphone but have used friends iphones.

by the way if you are an iphone4 :) person then have you seen the iphone4 pricing on the iphone4 thread. i posted the vodafone pricing leaked, today on that thread.

    iphone4 v dell streak v htc desire v samsung galaxy s v iphone3gs http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/0,39029453,49305896,00.htm

Thanks for all the advice. The iphone is definitely out, I culdn't afford the same package as I am on now.
I was thinking about a desire but was worried it might be a bit too gadgety.

DCFC79 I will risk the orange shop again, last time I went in it was like diving into a tank of piranhas:rotfl:

you can see photos online but they arent as good as seeing the phone yourself in terms of size, you could buy a phone thats too small but te pictures on the internet made it look bigger. You may(not tried it myself but no harm in asking) be able to actually have a look at a real model of a certain phone rather than the display 1,

from what ive seen the samsung wave does look nice
  • Thanks for the help and advice everyone. I will go and have a look in the orange shop and see what there is.

I think I am leaning towards either the wave or the desire:D
