Resolved: Selectspecs - Glasses have arrived!!

In the interest of keeping this thread fair, Selectspecs have now responded to my email albeit some time after the '1-2 days' promised on the website.

I believe i had a right to be suspicious the fact the company has no Contact Number and PO Box address. HOWEVER... they have now responded to my emails and in return i've promised to wait a further 2 weeks for my glasses before i return the forms to the Credit Card company in pursuit of a refund.

I also find it rather perculiar that Selectspecs can reply to my post on MSE after 1 day and yet my emails sent through there own site took in the end substancially longer to get a responce???

Thanks for the update M0jo. As mentioned in my previous post we've been very busy lately which has had an impact on how quickly we can respond to customers (not only with orders and customer inquiries but also with developments of our business).

With regards to responding to your post quicker than your email, I personally try to keep an eye on any posts on MSE and deal with any Social Media inquiries while the customer service team respond to emails, so response times are likely to be different.

sorry to hear you guys have had a bad experience..I use onlineglassessdirect.co.uk a company which I can actually speak to a human being when I need to!!!! they were fantastic dealt with my queries & it was all hassle free & cheap too!!!!!:j

So a parcel arrived this morning at work and to my pleasant suprise



WAHOOO!

in terms off fit and suitability 10/10! very comfy and my eyes weren't struggling to adjust, just pefect really.

Would i recommend selectspecs... hmmm... honestly?? The glasses are beautiful and well presented they were well packed. I'd definately recommend them had i not had the complications; however frustrating it was (and i cannot put into words how much so) at least i have my glasses now.

Thurs. 3rd June :T i origionally ordered


9th June first emailed the company

They've made a mistake in not replying...yes however the difference is you went off on one far too early!. CC claim, and who do I email to get them removed from MSE....totally OTT....INMO!

Have to agree with this post - not counting the order day / deliver day, it actually took them 11 working days - not brilliant, but not bad - what do their t&cs say about delivery?
