Eggs and milk aren't meat.
Simple really.
Or are you saying it is ok to eat the unborn animal but not the full oneApproach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Ah but an egg is the unborn feotus of an animal therefore if you eat the egg you eat the animal albeit in a different form.

That not quite correct as the eggs we eat are rarely fertilized, it's more like eating bird periods.
Anyone that's a Vegetarian for moral reasons is being a bit of a hypercritic eating eggs and milk as they don't pension off the old cows & hens once they have stopped producing milk and eggs.
And all the males that aren't required get finished off at birth (as a direct result of egg and milk production).
If you are doing it for moral reasons it may as well be all or nothing.0 -
Nearly all eggs sold commerically are unfertilized, meaning they are not a 'feotus'.
And what I'm saying is:
"A vegetarian is someone living on a diet of grains, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits with or without the use of dairy products and eggs.
A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products."
That is the definition of a vegetarian, from the Vegetarian Society.
And of course it's not true that vegetarians only eat vegetables! Neither is it true that vegans only eat vegetables,0 -
If it is deemed fair that a vegetarian should expect a vegetarian section on the menu of a restraunt, then why should a vegetarian restraunt not have a meat menu for non vegetarians?Approach her; adore her. Because 'meat eaters' do not exclusively eat meat, they can enjoy vegetarian dishes too.
Reminds me of my bf's nan who had a go at me for being vegetarian then sat down to her lunch - beans on toast. When I pointed out it was 'vegetarian' she said no it isn't. :wall:
Some people just don't understand do they, they think vegetarians live on lettuce I think.
Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread OP. I would return it and also make a complaint (no I'm not saying you should demand compensation before people try to jump on me for that too). But it's better that it doesn't happen again.0 -

i have had problems with morrisons and as a result i wont buy certain stuff from them!! i occasionally go there on my way back from somewhere with my mum as she wants to call in!! my first experience was a veg chilli ready meal, on unpacking to put in the microwave, it turned out to be regular chilli, i took it back and was refunded and sent away for testing (although as the packaging was the same size for meat and veggie chilli could have been a customer swapping sleeves!!) i recived a voucher 4 weeks as good will as product had bee n 'lost' and not recived for testiing!!! highly suspicious!
the second incidence was a fresh veg pizza (from the counter) i had purchased 2 as we were watching a film and 3 of us would be sharing - i cut the first after cutting and a tomato it 'flipped over' revealing what looked like chopped chicken - i removed all tomatoes on both pizzas and found the same - took 2 warm pizzas back and after a fight was refunded!! and pizzas were sent for analysis - yet again goodwill vouchers were sent but samples 'lost' in transit!!!!!
i can totally believe the op's story - and for those who say no harm done - i have a severe meat allergy (got ill from eating meat on weaning) and was brought up a veggie - i have had reactions to meds because the dr's dont know they contain meat products!
Morrisons really need to up their game.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
