Sexymouse~~hugs, would you like a hand to do the arrangements for your wedding? I have arranged different events for years now, and would be more than happy to help you if you want?
Pen Pen~~ I have on my main office door am alarm device, when the door is open if goes off, it works on a beam, and it makes one hell of a racked, it has 2 different noises you can set it to, my boss put it on the main door, as I was failing to hear people come into the office and they would just stand t downstairs and I not know they were there, I think it came from some where like B & Q and was a few years ago about £10 to £15, it runs on batteries, it might be just the thing for your shed.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

ETA some of you will remember Chamichelle
It's a whole year since she started her MFW thread
I know some flyladies visit her over there.
(The less said about MY MFW thread the better - I have been somewhat distracted of late!)
Thanks for this Valli, I was a lurker over on the MFW page, and michelle's is one of my faves. In fact it was from lurking and reading some of your comments over there, and your siggy that made me intrigued about the flyladies and sent me over this way. Even before I signed up to this thread I tried to repeat the line dont put it down to myself...judging by the numberof hotspots in my house it often doesn't work, but I blame that on the magnetic currents that must be in those areas (it's the only explanation).
I must find some time to catch up over there as I've not been reading those as much lately as find it tough enough keeping up here some times. Speaking of which I partially caught up with this thread but haven't made it all the way through yet. Looks like it's been a week of a lot of ups and downs for many people on here, not going to list everyone as there are quite a few pages for me to go and don't want to miss people off, but hugs and my very best wishes to you where they're needed/wanted and congratulations where they're due.
Right, well I have a busy day ahead, got lots of catch up flying to do this weekend. My friend is coming to stay on Friday and I would like the place to be as shipshape as possible for her visit. But I'm out from about 2 -7 today as I said I'd help another friend out and look after her children for the afternoon, and out for a few hours tomorrow for father's day and sis's birthday. I have some key jobs that must be done, and will do catching up on the daily lists where possible.
So key jobs for the weekend are:
Make new flat pack bed up
Meal plan
Food shopping
Writing thank you cards
Write cards and wrap b'day and fathers day presents
Washing
Vac'ing pretty much the whole house
Bathroom blitz
Feed plants
Hotspots
Decluttering worst in spare room
Ideally I will also get in:
Ironing
Gardening
Kitchen
Decluttering spare room more
Some more of this weeks lists
Done so far:
Made my lists:D
WM on
Kettle on
Shopping list begun
Right I'd best get on! Lots of delegation will be required.
Hope everyone has a good day today.

Hugs to all those who need them. Remember today is a new day so don't let the shadow of yesterday spoil it!
Loads to do here so I need to sort my list in a minute.
About to declutter DH and DS3 to cricket (he needs to declutter some plants and cake to the school fete)
Boys are fighting again ---- what is it with them this morning.

DH is rhesus neg, so DD is obviously keen to find her group (though if I have anything to do with it, the main concern about rhesus neg will be years off yet  )
We're about to declutter us all over the road, and have a few tinnies and watch the match :T
Come on Ingerrrrrrland
As regards England - can't we have a flylady in charge - cos something's not working at the moment........
well quite a lot isn't working at the moment...:(
Good morning all! Hugs to all those under stress - I remember the stress of sorting a wedding - (bride and family in Manchester, groom in Liverpool, grooms family in Hornchurch, bridesmaid in Leeds, bridesmaid in Edinburgh, best man in Hornchurch!) At the end of the day it's YOUR wedding - you have to do what will make you happy.
it's raining - well of course it is because I have been invited to a barbeque this evening! Under strict instructions from female offspring I had to sort an outfit for this party so I headed to Evans yesterday...and guess what? The kids are delighted with my choice - i've got a skirt, top and floaty cardi - I even bought a necklace - well it was half price!
Penpen - I somehow missed your post about the loss of your bikes! How b*&^%y cheeky can you get?:mad: Good luck getting your security sorted!
And many thanks to all those for their kind words about DD2's exam trials.....the school concerned is always in the top 50 in the guardian/Times and makes a right song and dance about it:mad:. I can't help feeling that the ethos of comprehensive education has been lost! - I was in the first comprehensive year in Stockport - in our 6th form we had people doing 3 A Levels, people doing a mixture of A levels and O levels and people putting their CSE's up to O Levels. The school round the corner doesn't like people doing 3 A levels - their theory is if you want to do 3 A levels go to York College. So we will wait and see........ back to revision today - for the food tech exam on Wed....subjects to be revised....fish cookery and chilling and freezing - looks like the weather has come out in sympathy!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Sexymouse (((HUGS))) Families, eh? Don't worry, it'll all come out in the wash, as my grandmother used to say. When we got married, Mr LW's DSis1 turned up with her aprtner, but his DSis2 cba. To this day I haven't met her. Sending wedding-plans-going-right vibes.
Signing off now before pants internet dies again.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Morning all!
I'm going to see Bon Jovi tonight
:T :j
And Seth Lakeman tomorrow night
:T :j
I have put washing in the machine, washed up and sorted the kitchen, and done a 60 in 60. Need to go and collect my prescription, clean out a smelly furry, and sort a bag for tonight cos I'm staying in London.
My dad has the other furries to watch for a few days (cos 8 more babies have arrived!!!)

I woke up this morning feeling like I went out and got hammered and wondered what I had embarrassingly done. Then I remembered I stayed in, didn't drink alcohol and had watched the match. Come on boys, please get through and please play well.
So I decided to crack on with the cleaning, have stripped and changed the bedding, done most of the kitchen and aim to complete all lists by lunchtimefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
morning all
Very grey here today, though it was typically very bright earlier so I ended getting up early. DH is still asleep and was up and down at 2am saying he felt sick so he may be a while. We had thought we might go to mothercare this morning but i bet he'll say it's too late and will be too busy by the time we're ready.
I think I might make a cuppa and then go and make some changes to my service for tomorrow morning, then it's done
Hope I'll manage to stand up for an hour as my hips are v painful! Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
