Greenbee I got Poppytime from the library today which isn't going to help get anything done :j.
    Enjoy...

Next week has turned to chaos as I've had a last minute request to go to Paris for work, and have to prepare material for a full day's workshop at what feels like very short notice!

Did manage to go to the gym this morning and a quick run to post some letters this afternoon. Laundry and washing up are just about under control. Nothing else is...

Penpen - those thieving g:mad:ts! Hope you get sorted soon.
Natty - you've done the right thing. You really don't need people like that in your life.
Summermoon - condolences to you and your family.
Hex and Greenbee - coping and visiting house elf vibes, as you are both so snowed under with work at the moment.
    Hope I haven't forgotten anyone.

I should have had a busy week, but achieved very little in the end. Found out on Wednesday why I was tired every night, as I started with a pain in the bum cold, and then AF decided to join the party. I felt a bit better today, but still wobbly. At least I didn't take time off work.
On a positive note, I keep working on money stuff and hotspot 1 in the LR has almost disappeared. DS1 only has one exam left (electronics on Tuesday) and DH is in a reasonable mood at the moment. I will try to keep going with QHCs tonight, but also want to just chill and read. Food first.
I wish all flyladies and loved ones who feel like they are in a gloomy place at the moment that the light at the end of the tunnel appears soon. x

Evening all, *Warning, rant coming on*

Had a very busy week with supply again this week, and have been doing more shopping around for wedding bits too. Got my bridesmaid dress but the zip had been finished really poorly. Had a row with my Mum because she refused to help me, as she said she "can't help everyone at the moment and I should take it to a drycleaners" (she is looking after my Nan, who has just been diagnosed with dementia). So, have now had to fork out more money to get it repaired. Good news though, is it should be done by Monday, so I can pick it up then (fingers crossed it doesn't rub on my bridesmaid's arm after the alteration). Also got a corsage to "Gok" the dress up a bit, but it's the wrong colour, so I'll have to take it back. Found some lovely earrings in the sale in Debenhams though for my outfit.

Just had a really crappy evening though. My sister has decided to arrange to take my M&D out to dinner tomorrow night, as a treat for father's day. Trouble is, Moon and I were already meant to be going round to my M&D's for dinner anyway, and the pub is so expensive, that we can't afford to go for the meal out. Sister had talked to my Mum to arrange it, and she had obviously forgotten that we had already arranged last week to come round. Sister was very abusive on the phone to me, as this obviously spoilt her plans, told me to F off and hung up on me, and then if that wasn't bad enough, my Dad called later to say that they were going out with them because they don't get to see them very often (sister's fault as she can't be bothered basically), and I ended up having an argument with him, because he said I was being unreasonable about the dinner and the zip, and he hung up on me too!

Oh, and on Tuesday, MIL and BIL2b and SIL2b uninvited us to dinner there (we go every Tuesday), by making up some rubbish story about SIL having a cold and not cooking, and then they both turned up and decided to cook for MIL on her own (MIL lives next door, so how stupid do they think we are?)! We've now decided that SIL and BIL are no longer coming to the reception, which I'm pleased about as they are both ****holes.

Spent most of this evening in tears whilst trying to make the dinner, and missed the really good film that was on that I'd wanted to see. Starting to think that we should just abandon having family at our reception, as all they've contributed is upset. :(

Sorry for ranting, needed to get that off my chest (Moon just doesn't understand sometimes).

    sexymouse xx

PS toots - your emails have come at just the right time. :) Thank you.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

i am still struggling but very slowly i am fighting my way through it!
i guess it doesn't help that we are only in rented for short periods so i don't really want to get everything out. still lots of boxes in the garage!
we have to move in october so i really should get things packed up again :D - but life is good and we all are really enjoying it!

dh is out with dd for her dance lesson and i'll take her later for a birthday party! - yesterday i finally managed to go to the gym and do a Zumba class - loved it :T

and on the giving blood topic: i always gave blood so twice a year but i wasn't allowed here in australia - at least not for the first 6 months; guess kind of a quarantine :D - but i haven't seen any of them buses here either  - need to investigate ...

    flying wise:
finally got all my paperwork out ystd and it's all out on the coffee table in the lounge (will finish it today) - asked dh for weeks now to clear the big table of his 'project stuff' ... still hasnt' happened yet hmmmmmmm - i see a box challenge coming up ;)
it's kind of weird to start your filing from scratch ....

oh and half of the gugelhupf is gone too :p

Take it easy, hun :A it's a busy time arranging a wedding. We got married from our home in Yorks, rather than do the obvious thing and do it from Berks where both my and DH's family live, as it was far to difficult to do all the arranging with 3 lots of people having their *input* :o I found it much easier to do all the planning myself, from my own house, and tell DH what he wanted to do, and ask him nicely to do it :D

We have lots to do today. DH has secured the sheds, but my bike is currently in the kitchen, which is mighty inconvenient :( We need to do some more security things outside, buy new locks, and DH is looking into getting an alarm system :( I hate the feeling that I'm having to be untrusting of people and that makes me very sad :( We live in a small place and know most people, and folk look after each other, so I hate to feel my trust has been broken (though quite possibly by outsiders  ).

On the upside, we're out to a party tonight :j and have been invited for lunch tomorrow with old friends of DH we haven;t seen in ages :j

    Hugs all round :A

    Good morning everyone! :)

Sexymouse- I hope you are feeling a whole lot better this morning. I hate family fall-outs too and have had my fair share of them. OH and I have put off getting married partly to avoid the wedding problems caused by family who don't get on with other members of the family/family we do not like but feel we have to invite and so on. Good luck sorting your lot out!!!

Well I am up bright (??!) and not very breezy this morning as have an 8am hairdressers appointment! Whos mad idea was that, lol?!

See you all later.....hugs to those who need them!
