I've also finished the ongoing job of giving all the internal doors a good dose of beeswax polish. I've been doing it a bit at a time as it takes it's toll on my back and shoulders, but it's all done now.:j

We're taking Mr LW's pal (Molly-dog's owner) to the pub tonight; he's going to have my keys and keep an eye on the house for us:) so it's a sort of advance thanks. Mr LW will drive us there, and I'll be driving back, so no wine for me.:( Not sure how I got stuck with the driving back again...... *scratches head*:D

Mr LW had better make it worth my while.;):D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

It all went very wrong this afternoon:( Mum got a phonecall at 5.15 to say nan has been discharged with no care in place:eek: It seems nan convinced them she will be fine only when I rang her tonight she's not so fine and quite upset doesn't know how she will stand to cook a meal (she is 81 and had a hip replacement 5 days ago)

Hope it all works out for you - the state of socail care in some parts of the country is shocking
L-L all the positive vibes in the world for a cracking, good weather Glastonbury.:T:beer:

And huge respect re the treatment thing! You stand out as a beacon of loveliness and a shining example to all of us who while away our time on this thread.:A:A

How beautifully put :T Can I second the sentiment :)
PS Pen-Pen certainly wasn't expecting to see a picture of Brian Cox when I checked in - great way to start the morning

Did someone say Prof Cox, OBE?

PenPen - I'm not sure I made the same chocolate hazelnut cupcakes as you, but I hope they were as delicious as the ones I made a few weeks ago. I have some[STRIKE] very good recipes for [/STRIKE]strawberry shortcake, pineapple and peach cupcakes if you'd like me to send them to you...

So I labelled for about 3/4 of an hour in the blazing heat in my greenhouse. Then gazed at a job well done. :T:T:T

To celebrate, I switched on the hose pipe, and gave all the plants a little soak with water. As I did so, all my carefully written messages dissolved into a blackish-green stream and ran off the sticks into the soil, leaving virgin, white, pristine, naked labels behind....
