    PenPen - I'm not sure I made the same chocolate hazelnut cupcakes as you, but I hope they were as delicious as the ones I made a few weeks ago. I have some very good recipes for strawberry shortcake, pineapple and peach cupcakes if you'd like me to send them to you...

    Not Pen Pen but very interested... making my mouth water to be precise. I'd be very grateful if you could pm them to me please.

    GTG Home made focaccia is ready to come out of the oven. The rosemary and garlic smells gorgeous.

    Hello All

    Thanks to all of you for the messages of love & support ..... I have been fluctuating between laughing & crying :A :A you really are the best :D

    I leave a week today for Glastonbury so there is plenty of time to save some "spoons" & for you to conjure up some sunshine :p:D

    I'm fine .... I don't consider myself brave, I have had time to work thru the whole mix of emotions .... I may come on here & moan sometimes :o I try to keep fairly upbeat on FB because my Son reads it .... & he is, as most of you know my inspiration ... I am determined to see his 21st Birthday at Christmas .... & he has one more year of uni ... so if I can get to see him graduate I will be happy ...... so I'm not planning on "going" anywhere just yet :eek:

    Anyway ... that's enough of me ... normal service will be resumed :D

    Mrsmoreton Welcome back

    Mumofjust2 Nice to see you as well :D

    Mumto5 Hi Hun .... I hope you have been careful ;) no moving furniture x

    Froddy Yes, we will definitely have to meet ... I heard from Sexy last night ... I'm sure she would be up for it as well xx

    Love & hugs to all, will catch up a bit more ....

    xx

    B]QUOTE=cyclingyorkie;33832401[/BMorning All!

    Just off to wake DD2 - another day of Geography revision....but it is so nearly over...don't know who is the more tired of it all her or me!

    Are we the same person? I did the same with DS1. He's gone round to his friends house. I have made sure the PS3 controller didn't go with him and the geography revision book did rolls eyes smiley man.

    Lady L - I was showered, dressed and had even applied make up (and a push up bra) for 7am this morning. Just as well as they arrived at 7.20! The bunk beds are lovely and I made them 2 cups of tea with cereal bars to nibble on. They realised I was buttering them up and offered to take the bed base downstairs. HOORAY!!! Sunshine and spoons being sent your direction xx

    Focaccia is looking yummy. Still to hot to eat.

    3 x WM
    2 loads of washing on line
    2 x bunk beds made up with beautiful new linen :j:j.
    Kitchen s/s
    Kitchen sink bleached

    Table mountain of ironing is now resembling a challenging hill.

    Afternoon

    Been out all morning hygenist/supermarket/nursery etc.

    Toots - operation bin refil was a success today:D I got DS1 to cut the grass last night so that I'd have enough stuff for a total refill
    It all went very wrong this afternoon:( Mum got a phonecall at 5.15 to say nan has been discharged with no care in place:eek: It seems nan convinced them she will be fine only when I rang her tonight she's not so fine and quite upset
    Hugs for you all, it never ceases to amaze me the way hospitals discharge the elderly. I hope some help can be put in place soon. Would she use a microwave and ready meals for a short time?

    Dilema as to what to do next. Do I pop to town with DS1, do I garden, do I make bread and cake, do I finish cleaning DS3's room?

    Let's see if option one is a go or no go.

    Good god, that made me jump!

    ****************************

    Back from the greenhouse, having labelled the pots for sale next week at school fete. Took ages to do...spent some time looking for my labelling pen which seems to have vanished. I always keep it in the bag of white label spikes, ready for action; but in its place was another black pen I didn't recognise.

    Ah well... DH must have used up the old one and put this one in its place, no?

    So I labelled for about 3/4 of an hour in the blazing heat in my greenhouse. Then gazed at a job well done. :T:T:T

    To celebrate, I switched on the hose pipe, and gave all the plants a little soak with water. As I did so, all my carefully written messages dissolved into a blackish-green stream and ran off the sticks into the soil, leaving virgin, white, pristine, naked labels behind....

    I don't know whether to
    * laugh hysterically
    * cry hysterically
    or
    * plot a very painful revenge...

    Food first.
    Back soon with my decision. All suggestions gratefully welcomed meanwhile. I have all the usual garden implements. ;)
