Hello everyone,
Hugs to everyone who fancies; congratulations and hope it goes well to Newlywed; any hatchings Soappie? Glad you had a good day out Toots, I could fancy a sip of the single malt myself.
Lady-L - I'll echo what everyone else has said plus you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have decluttered sports day, lovely and sunny. I am supposed to be working at the moment but I'll do some flying later, I promise.

Was out in London for work yesterday and have just indulged myself by catching up on the thread instead of doing stuff. I'm glad I did, as I've seen Lady Liberty's news. I think everyone has said everything - you're a very brave lady, and I'm sure you will make the most of each and every day. Wishing you a wonderful time at Glastonbury and many more happy, fulfilled days.
PenPen - I'm not sure I made the same chocolate hazelnut cupcakes as you, but I hope they were as delicious as the ones I made a few weeks ago. I have some very good recipes for strawberry shortcake, pineapple and peach cupcakes if you'd like me to send them to you...
Newlywed - congratulations - that's fantastic news!0 -
Morning all
I've done all the bedrooms this morning. Two loads of washing on the line, blowing well in the sun. Living room dusted and vacuumed right through downstairs (again).
Not caught up yet, so I hope everyone's OK.0 -
Hi all.
Aha, Master Bedroom today, which means a relatively easy day for me. Dare I hope for the Bathroom tomorrow? I'd like to leave it all sparkly for our holiday.;)
Mummyslittleboy hey, you mustn't feel guilty for living a distance from your Nan. You're pulling out all the stops to help; congratulate yourself for that. (((HUG))) I do think it's disgraceful that she's been discharged with no arrangements for even basic care in place though. Paws firmly crossed that you can get something sorted for her pronto.
Boddy Happy Birthday to your GGD1.:o
Please would someone tell me, who the heck is Brian Cox? *insert shruggy smilie*:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Ouch Piggers! That mule hurts, y'know.....! [mutters under breath and stamps foot]
Suppose I'd better report on progress, then in case she's still watching.... No flying, but I've:
* Done school run and grabbed petrol
* Unpacked dishwasher, and packed it again with breakfast stuff
* Made a Moroccan lamb casserole for tonight with whoopsied lamb shanks from the freezer :money:
* Done nearly an hour's gardening, potting things on for the school fete
* Written a list and gazed helplessly at it.
* Lobbed a load of tins and pans into hot water to get soaking
Must dive out and finish in the garden before it gets too hot in the g/house; then I'll do a fling around the kitchen/dining room to see if I can get that crossed off.
Back soon...off to find coffee...and take it to the greenhouse...
