It must be very hard for you. Fingers crossed that something comes up. In the meantime, is there any volunteering you could do for CV points? Preferably something that doesn't mean you start running up travel expenses (or that they at least reimburse them) and that is vaguely relevant to your chosen employment.
Well apparently my reputation precedes me and the firm I used to work for want to see me asap. So hopefully.... As for volunteering, I've emailed off about a couple and not heard anything and rung up about volunteering in the local hospital - they have all their volunteer spaces booked up till September - so i can't even work for free
Anyhow, OH came home for lunch and gave me some notes and asked if that would help for shopping and leccySo leccy's sorted and I have shopping money for next week (and hopefully a possible job by then too). So since he's paid for the leccy, I guess he should be able to watch some more footie?
So I have done absolutely nowt so far today. Told OH I should clean the place up and he said oh leave it and do it later - so I went to me mum's and then we went up the garden center
Have decluttered dinner and now should really do summat like fill the dw... might vacuum the front room whilst the footie is still on. Those vuvuzela trumpet things make so much noice I doubt it'll make any difference having a vacuum on :rotfl:
Dustykitten - I'm applying for anything admin/secretarial/reception etc but more recently have done IT but not getting anywhere on that unless I wanna travel about 2 hours each way to work
Toottifrootti - well the list of things to do before I go back to work are to make chilli (use it as a quick meal after work) - the mince is defrosting ready for tomorrow; and move some plants to mum's - courgettes, pepper and bean plants all repotted. Only other thing I'd planned was to clean the oven and I've done that twice in the last month - that's more than the total ever
As for today's list, well most of my extras planned for today will have to be put on hold anyway as, depending on the outcome of tomorrow, I may be busy/have some wages etc.

:hello:Just flitting through to say hi to all my flylady friends!!
Another terrible Monday - our kids must have a really rough time at the weekend, as they sure take it out on us on Monday. I had so much abuse from one Year 7 boy,(I was being totally unreasonable - I had asked him to sit down where he was supposed to be in the seating plan - I even said please) that the duty patrol called senior management without asking me. They didn't turn up of course,*rolleyes smiley* but it was a nice thought.
I've cooked dinner, and washed up. I'm now going to put the plants back in the greenhouse, and then flake out on the sofa with my copy of France Magazine which arrived today.
Mrs Chaos - thankyou for the info re Lorraine, I think I may have chosen an area we'll like!
