Just seen some active kids vouchers on offer on freecycle so hoping we get those as beavers/cubs are collecting but don't have enough yet. If anyone has any spare and no one to donate to I am more than happy to relieve you of them :D in fact any vouchers which the schools collect. All my friends and family are on strict orders to say YES when offered any vouchers, and make sure some school/club gets the benefit.

PM me and you can have mine: Mr T's any use to you, as I have those as well! Only a few... but every little helps;)

I'll be able to put them in an envelope this evening as they're by the computer and will need to be tidied this evening before the window fitters arrive at stupid o'clock in the morning.:rotfl:

I just feel like I am spending my entire day cleaning :( I cannot seem to get anywhere tidy in order to clean. we still have boxes everywhere from the move, many things dont have a home and there are piles of stuff waiting to be put on walls or have a home bought for them (storage chest or such like) I can't get anywhere straight :( argh! although my bathroom is sparkling, i dont mind the cleaning part, i didnt have anything to tidy up in there!

Can you get a bit of "sanity" around the cooker, one work surface, fridge and kettle? Clean that area and just have the stuff there that will live there? And one clear comfy chair? At least then you can have a nice cuppa tea and a sit down. (And, if the fridge isn't full, you could put plates, cutlery, mugs in there so you know where they are?)

Maybe the stuff that will need storage chests and hanging on walls could be stashed in one part of the room they're going to live in?

Sometimes the unpacking is the worst process, which is why some people have boxes still packed from their previous move after many years in the new gaff:whistle: Good luck.

So do a bit.. not all of it... you can't do anything about the boxes right now but you can stack them neatly.

Start with level one.. and do what you can.. set yourself a time limit.. no more than 2 hours cleaning per day.. or do 1 hour cleaning and 1 hour tidying.. find a balance that works for you.. it takes more than a day to get it messy so it won't come right in a day either!!

Focus on one area and deal with it.. don't look at the whole room look at the individual mountains!!

All the rooms come round again next week so you can do a bit more then.. :D.

It will get done.. give it time.. I've been waiting... 10 years so far lol

Triker.. just because you are feeling better does not mean you should be busying yourself into silliness!!...
      what she said!

I need to make her a hair dressers appt.. she is going for contact fitting on Wednesday and I want to order her a wrist corsage thing.. do we think fresh flowers or dried ones which she can keep?

Fresh? yes, if you can get a good photo as a keepsake before she leaves the house... dried if you think she'll want to keep the corsage. I think you should be able to get a shadowbox frame to keep the dried corsage and a photo so it's not just in a box under the bed. Depends on what your point of view is on keeping an object to remind you or just the memories.

How do y'all - back from a cracking weekend at Download and well relaxed for it. That said, I'm also utterly knackered, so we'll see what happens and how much of this FlyChap (for I'm no lay-dee) stuff actually gets done tonight. It might well be home, changed, cook a bit of dinner, eat it slumped in front of the telly, go to bed.

      We'll see.

Mind, checked the passports last week anyway, so we're one up there already :)

I'm in again this week although I think I'll start tomorrow because I'm spending the day trying to get through my HUGE pile of washing/ironing :(.
