am awaiting DD2 back from the Geography exam - she was in a right state this morning...but she DOES know it - that's what so frustrating!

I've had a similar conversation with DS1 today. He's been revising quite well (for him).

Very frustrating day. My keys have vanished so I can't go to meet the psychotherapist about DD2's hair pulling. The problem with centralised NHS services is that they are just 3 bus rides away! I can't organise childcare/nursery drop offs/school pick ups.

Relations have broken down with DH. We are in a bad place. He's been sleeping on the sofa since Thursday as I can't bear to be in the same room as him. He said something really below the belt in a arguement and I'm very hurt.

    Off to find a list....

Well that turned into a whole HC! Caravan cleared out and cleaned, carpets lifted and hoovered. Washing partly sorted ready to go in. Just checked weather forecast to see if it will stay dry so I can mow the front lawn tomorrow instead of today, it's still damp but growing so fast and I want it looking good out the front for the 'committee' meeting :D The back needs doing as well, but I might get away with doing that on Weds.

ETA Mumof5 sorry to hear things are bad at yours, I hope you can resolve things soon.

Thanks for the photo PenPen; just had to carry him forward to this page, swoon.

Must go off for a cold shower or do some work or something - you shouldn't have distracted me! :D

I've some how decluttered that pic into my avatar, so I expect you'll all be encouraging me to be "overly chatty" so that he can move from page to page :)

    Ironing done; dot-to-dotting continuing

Oooh, very nice and I'm liking the sig as well :D and as for being overly chatty; how would I cope with being a desperate, doormat shaped housewife with no life or work to give my existence meaning without your lovely photos and quirky sense of humour to perk up my days :rotfl:. Purty numbers too.

I have made the house less of a weekend shaped bomb-site, WM and TD (blooming rain), DW and ordered spare part for DW as top rack not washing properly - but this took forever - I think Crafty may be onto something, maybe spending to long with :money:renders your pc incapable of checking out on any sites?

That would solve the problem of my 5-a-day:o

I must have been spending too much time on MSE - my puter won't let me into the check-out page on Amazon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have decluttered my cv off to a company I used to work for (that inside knowledge has notified me of a job available ;)), so now waiting to hear on that. Am also waiting for a call later regarding Friday's telephone interview (though not feelilng very confident), they will say if I'm invited to face-to-face interview. I just need a job :( emotionally, mentally and financially I need a job :o
It must be very hard for you. Fingers crossed that something comes up. In the meantime, is there any volunteering you could do for CV points? Preferably something that doesn't mean you start running up travel expenses (or that they at least reimburse them) and that is vaguely relevant to your chosen employment.

Though OH did say yesterday (when I moaned he had hogged tv watched nothing but sport all day) that I sit and watch tv all day while he's working - so feeling somewhat less inclined to bother cleaning the house today - can't think why??
tell him you're selling the TV to pay for the electricity... :D:D

Work hasn't gone according to plan today... two hours I thought I had free were filled at the last minute.

Carrot and lentil soup has been pureed... just need it to cool so I can freeze it and decide what to make next :D
