Morning all, I'm in again this week, thanks to the fab four or is it famous five?

Welcome home Toots, hope you had a lovely week.
Hope you aren't suffering with a medieval hangover Lamewolf?
Just had to declutter a pic of the lovely Prof Brian Cox, OBE

    BrianCox_01.jpg

Thanks for the photo PenPen; just had to carry him forward to this page, swoon. I have had an abiding weakness for Sean Connery (at any age) and have always told DH that he's the only man I would run away with (I don't think I would say no to Alan Titchmarsh :o) but the gorgeous, smart and enthusiastic Brian Cox (he's a whole package :D) has knocked them both off their top spots and all the family tease me about my obsession and insist on calling him 'the walking, talking Stephen Hawking' as per Jimmy Carr on the alternative election night show.

Must go off for a cold shower or do some work or something - you shouldn't have distracted me! :D

based on stuff I've found/made in the past. Basically I go shopping, buy all the stuff that looks nice and then work out how to use it. I know I need lots of soups and vegetable stews, and they're all quick to make and can go in the oven together, or the SC one after another.
That would solve the problem of my 5-a-day:o

I must have been spending too much time on MSE - my puter won't let me into the check-out page on Amazon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had nearly succumbed to an espresso machine.

    Morning all,

Have decluttered my cv off to a company I used to work for (that inside knowledge has notified me of a job available ;)), so now waiting to hear on that. Am also waiting for a call later regarding Friday's telephone interview (though not feelilng very confident), they will say if I'm invited to face-to-face interview. I just need a job :( emotionally, mentally and financially I need a job :o

WM is on but making some very very dodgy noises (and it's not even half full) and have no money to replace it :( Elec has run out and we are on the emergency money and that will only last today (waiting for OH to get some cash out for me :where's the rolleyes thingy:).

Post and deliveries have come - just waiting for Sainsbug shopping to be delivered, then I'll put it all away and get moving.

Though OH did say yesterday (when I moaned he had hogged tv watched nothing but sport all day) that I sit and watch tv all day while he's working - so feeling somewhat less inclined to bother cleaning the house today - can't think why??
